They've been without TMac for 5 years now and they still haven't gotten over it. We've been without him for less than 3 months, and we are already over him. Most of us, anyway. Typical Orlando media. So myopic.
That franchise's entire identity is wrapped up in the players they traded away. {And 4 missed free throws in a row)
Such a sweet kid. You must be new here. That line about a possible dynasty was pure comedic gold. I didn't realize use of the term included prolonged mediocrity.
not really imo, penny never really put up the numbers that t-mac did. tracy at least reached his individual potential as a player, I don't think Penny ever did. can't believe penny played 16 games last year
I feel really OLD after reading this post. Hard to believe 1995 was 14 years ago. I can't believe Penny Hardaway. He was supposed to be the next Magic Johnson. 6'10, could play all 5 positions. Man...what could've been for that guy.
Because of an article written on the day McGrady's team is playing Orlando? I'd be curious to know if there were any other McGrady articles written this year. I'm assuming there was one prior to the first matchup.
Well actually he's only 6'7" and could maybe play 3 positions. Edit: sorry, didn't see the first correction. Didn't mean to pile on.
Dude. They're got Rafer Alston starting at point guard! Their situation and our situation are worlds apart
Like Tracy really cares. Guy earns millions of dollars every month, everybody knows him and is living a life of a basketball icon. He earned his dream, he's where he wants to be. And to all Orlando Magic fans that diss TMac I think they should reminisce over the years when Grant Hill was injured and when they got to the playoffs when nobody believed they could. They could upset Pistons just to fall in seven games. Same goes for Rockets fans who brag about TMac's lack of "heart"? He was the main player when Rockets clinched a playoff spot in the last two years. Rockets fans should appreciate more they players, not just quit on them if they're not doing well. Nobody would fake a microfracture injury.
