Talk about a mountain out of a mole hill. Big Baby brushes past a kid(after the biggest shot of his career) and knocks his hat off. The kid is fine and nobody got hurt.

He barely even hit the kid. Yeah I know Big Baby is big but talk about a situation that was way overblown.

If Dwight Howard had did this to the kid the Dad would probably keep his mouth shut.

How hard would it be for Davis to sign a hat or something, and give it to the kid as a show of good faith? I never understood why stuff like this got blown out of proportion. All Davis has to do is issue a public apology saying it was completly unintentional, and that he hopes the kid wasn't hurt, and as a token, here's an autograph. Even if Davis doesn't mean it, what difference does it make?

If someone does it by mistake then no I would not be offended. I hope this kid and his dad never go to a club together.

    Nice fix Dave . ;)

If you accidentally shove someone in the mall or on the bus or any place, you say sorry. I don't know why it is so hard for Davis to say sorry to the kid.

I think it would have been nice for Big Baby to apologize or recognize that he accidentally moved a kid. However, for the father to publicly demand an apology makes him look like a fool trying to gather national attention for a seemingly innocent act in my mind. I'm positive that if the kid he moved was a Celtics fan and/or the home team was the winner, no such deal would be made out of this. In fact, I think it would be exhilarating to be knocked over by a pro player who just knocked down a game winning shot.

Dude it wasn't that serious. You're acting like he hit the kid in the noise or something. The father is only mad because his team loss, he need to get over it and shut the hell up.

It would be different if he slammed into him and knocked him over....or even walked up to him and shoved him but thats not what happened.

If the kid is smarter, he should flop and dive to his chair with a few teeth knocked out. Now, he will be talking about some handsome cash, not a useless apology. :D

    ^this.

The kid is TWELVE not five!

He's probably thinking "Thanks Dad for making America think I'm an oversensitive nancy-boy."

"Thanks Dad for ruining the coolest thing that's ever happened to me."

At least someone else here understands common courtesy.

The kid probably would've been knocked over if he didn't have a low center of gravity and cat-like reflexes.

Guy might have been considered for an apology (although it was clearly a minor brush and unintentional) had he not thrown in the "raging animal" part. I mean come on that's pretty ridiculous.

Sure, but to apologize everytime someone demands one makes it worthless. You just called everyone who disagrees with your viewpoint a moron, I think you should apologize

Seriously, how did this dumb story get picked up in the media? I saw the video and big baby barely touched the kid. This dad must know how to do some PR if he was able to give this story legs.
