That is BS and you know it. Last I checked, the Houston Rockets organizations and Tracy McGrady aren't the ones constantly whining about the Orlando Magic organization. The Orlando GM is the one ripping McGrady and the Rockets. If anything Orlando wants the Rockets to say the McGrady deal was bad.
How can someone, ESPECIALLY as a point guard, go off for 17 points but not have an assists?? Other than the 17 points, the only other way he positively effected the stat line last night was 1 board. I didn't watch the game, though, and I know he was a scorer in college, but he's going to have to develope more of an all around game.
Why don't u mention Steve only had 3 of them???? Just like when he was in H-Town, getting all the blame for everything. Get off his back guys, it's only preseason....If you count the preseason as an indication for the regular season than you're in for a big shock. The Knicks are blowing out the Spurs right now!!! Maybe the Knicks will win the title!!!
LOL, there's still "Steve Francis" fights even though he isn't on the rockets anymore . C'mon guys he isn't our problem anymore, let it go. Let Magic fans worry about it.
McGrady or the Rockets hadn't said ANYTHING about the Magic in months, and were just going along with their business. And up pops Orlando Magic management ripping the Rockets, McGrady and still whining about him. You can tell the trade still burns them because they won't let it go. If I were him I would worry about the Orlando Magic TEAM. Props to Francis and McGrady for not verbally calling out Orlando or Houston by name and ripping them. They're just going along with their business, Orlando Magic management should do the same.
Wrong again. McGrady just said something last night. Someone started a thread about it in the Rockets forum, Tmac Quote.
I'm still curious about what exactly was said about the Rockets. I don't see how you could criticize how they handled the trade when it was Weisbrod leaking things to the media and stalling at every opportunity. CD kept his mouth shut the whole time, so I find hard to believe that someone would bash how we handled the trade.
Well, the deal was lopsided in favor of the Rockets, and Weisbrod could have gotten a package twice as good if he had kept his mouth shut and waited until midseason before unloading him. I wouldn't feel any animosity towards him; it would be like Miami fans hating Mitch Kupchack.
I don't think the trade was lopsided. I think it gave both teams exactly what they needed. The Magic were looking for heart, energy and chemistry, which they got in Steve, Cat and Cato. The Rockets were looking for a bigger scoring threat, and they got the best guard in the business for the job. So lopsided? No. Just feeding the needs of both teams.
