Yao has never disrespected the team. I would not have written this, were there not an established pattern of Tmac doing just that.
7-5 2nd in SW Division vs. one hell of a tough starting schedule -- 2nd Round playoff appearance - 7 game series vs. the eventual Champ Respect is given when it is earned. The coach / organization / big chunk of the fan base lost respect for him when he chose to end his season by opting for surgery last year without going through the team. Announcing it through his own website showed cowardice and a total lack of respect for his team. He also chose to put himself in front of the team in the past with all of the "Its on me" garbage. We are winning.
I'm disappointed if these reports are true. I guess we're gonna go with what we got... If so, please no more Battier closing games unless he finds his shot again, play Bundinger. I freakin' can't believe that I am actually saying this!!! Go Rockets I wish you well T-Mac!! Let him go somewhere he can play like we supposedly did for Pops. I hate less than honest organizational statements. The truth is somewhere in the middle.
Well actually you can believe because Chase Budinger is clearly a better scorer than Shane Battier. But there's no doubt who's more valuable in the clutch time
These Tmac hate and Tmac love threads are starting to be a dime a dozen. Both are coming out at a rate of 1.5 per day. Pretty soon were gonna be averaging worse then Brooks TO per game. Damn I think every one pretty much knows the story of Tmacs hate and the story of Tmacs nuts love. This thread is basically the same thing I have been readin since day one of Tmacs calling it or giving up. This isnt new news!!!!! Just cause your a member doesnt mean you have to start this crap anymore, neither sides! But yeah, Tmac has got to go already, but dont start a new thread showing the same stuff I've been (we) reading since post season. FFS.
n t Another stupid Posting on this Forum about Tracy McG. It's just a cover for all the uneducated hate that is going on among our so called fans! Please stop it and let everything take its natural course!! Yetti
To qualify the thoughts of others at "uneducated hate" IE Nazi-Jew hate, is petty-yetti. This thread was about more than TMAC. Its about how an organization needs to be run to be and stay successful in any sports league. It is also about the employer-employee relationship within these organizations. It is far from blind, which is how I would qualify the Pro Mac peeps.
I agree with some of what your foundation is, but jerry krause said the same thing and when jordan left, what happened? Magic made west choose between he and westhead and guess who they chose? It really depends on how great the player is when making this stand of sorts. Tracy isn't a great player, so its really not a issue, but if lebron wanted ferry gone or he's not resigning, who's would the cavs choose? What about wade, kobe, carmello? Like I've said before, its never black and white as some would like it to be, its more in the middle with exceptions. BTW,did we need another bashing thread?
yao has never put himself above the team - he has never gone over the organization to air his dirty laundry in public - he has never publicly whined like t-mac has. what would happen if yao had called the lakers to win it all while his team was in the middle of a tough series w/ them? to me that is the worst thing t-mac has done - how do you think guys like scola, battier, chuckwagon, ect felt when they saw that their own teammate was saying their opponent was going to win the title? these guys were giving it all against a team that nobody expected them to compete against and their own teammate sells them out like that? i wouldnt ever want to play w/ someone like that again.
it's really becoming redundant, truth is we don't KNOW what is going on, we aren't in the locker room, we aren't in adelman and morey's head, we don't know if tmac is really being a problem or if he truly just wants to play and didn't think his actions would be that devastating, really, they shouldn't have been. adelman could have simply told tracy, hey sorry, but we can't afford to take a risk, we need you to practice more so we can be sure the knee is safe, and when he dressed out he should have said, you look cute, too bad the inactive roster has already been determined for this game, they aren't helping the situation either, by ignoring it, or keeping it hush they only build up anxiety, and so i say, let him play. we won't win with this team, we don't have anyone to just give it to and believe they can create a shot, i mean literally NO ONE aaron? to, lowry? prolly run into another player and throw up a brick, carl and luis are good, but they aren't going to take someone off the dribble and find the open man. if tmac wasn't a good passer i would understand not wanting him to come back and play seeing that we have a much more team involved style here, but the fact is he is an amazing passer so it should work. as a fan of basketball, i would like to see the best players play every night, sports in the us is not how it used to be, talent is assessed much more individually than in past years, people want to to see the best players, they want to see good teams, but they want to see a good show too, basketball is entertainment now, deal with it.
