Is Brooks going to be a consummate professional all-star?

 

I believe he has the potential. 20ppg last season, 40% from 3, good ft shooter, fast as lightning. The kid can shoot lights out when he's on, and even on those off days he's still scary in the open court and behind the 3. I hope he remains a Rocket when his contract is up.

 

I think he's absolutely right! Most Improved last season, coming into this season with a healthy roster, I think he's just going to get better.

And its going to be damn exciting to watch! :grin:

There is no way brooks will be a allstar with Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Brandon Roy, Kobe Bryant, etc all playing the guard positions in the west..

Also Clyde also thought Ralfer Alston was a all-star..

Lots of guys to beat out, and that's only the PG's ... since the all-star game is just divided up as "guards", he'll have to beat out two-guards too.

I think he does have a shot though to get voted in with the China effect. He was 5th last year, and you have to think that a lot of those votes that were going to Mcgrady will go to him or Martin this year. I don't know if it will be strong enough to put him in the top two, though.

 

He's definitely a dark horse all-star similar to rafer in his years here :grin:

He's better than Nash right now, but not young Nash.

Not better than CP3 or Dwill (at the moment)

Better than Westbrook and Curry at the moment.

The Rockets investment in the development of Brooks is paying HUGE dividends.....

 

Stephen Curry? WTF? I would say tied or slightly better then Westbrook.

Whew, I agree. Steep competition.

He'll have to average at least 9-10 assists and have to become a shutdown defender (you don't have to say it, I know :/ ), or have a great year and have some of those guys get injured. He has the talent, but man good luck.
