son aaron brooks isn't a bad PG, in fact aaron is even more talented than Rondo IMO. Rondo is more athletic and stronger than Aaron, but Rondo's rough shooting skills are an unremovable gap lying in his way to becoming a great PG like Deron and CP. Aaron's shooting work is as good as hell and his awesome awareness for offense is also a big advantage that will definitely drive him to all-star games or even HOF.
who the heck has said AB is gonna become another AI? btw what do you mean by AI, the uncurable disease? I've never thought AB will become another AI who is also prone to injury like tmac. Although Aaron has missed some gomes this season due to some minor injuries, he is still the most consistent guy on our backcourt.
son if you are not blind, I strongely suggest you take a look at the significant progresses Aaron has made since he joined our team: http://www.nba.com/playerfile/aaron_brooks/career_stats.html aaron has been playing great this season especially after Rafer was traded. aaron used to average only 1.7 or some in his assist number earlier this season but that figure has already grown to 3.1 since he gets more game time after Rafer got traded, I mean morey wouldn't have traded Rafer if he hadn't made sure Aaron could do a better job than rafer did. I expect the MIP of next season will go to aaron who was the ncaa 3-pointer contest championship.
How did pg get thrown in with big men talk?. Williams is probably gthe best pg in the league. He destroys Paul everytime they play. Let me repeat, he destroys Paul everytime they play, he destroyed Billups last time they played, he destroys nash when they play also. I don't see why people expect brooks to all of a sudden be better than williams. Brooks played well enough last game for the rockets to win, they just didn't..
this, which is spot-on, is what makes Dwight so scary. Pretty much every great center out there started out as an athletic freak and added 1,2 or 3 dominant post moves to their game. Dwight has yet to do this. If he does, a 30/15 type season isn't out of the question.
Be interesting to see if he does that in the future. He's no Dream, but he's certainly a freak of nature. The guy needs to improve his free throw percentage. That alone would bump up his scoring average and make him more valuable. Maybe he should ask Yao for some tips. (I hope he doesn't... Yao would probably oblige!)
What makes yao even more scary is that he's never had any meaningful rest over the last decade! Imagine yao rest a little bit this summer and improve the conditioning and regain some of his 2005 type of strength back and some of his 2002 type of agility/jump shooting/jumping ability back...
lol you gotta love shaq but I'm not buying it. I'll give it another month or so before he says something out of line about Yao. But then again maybe he is being honest. I mean Yao is quiet and doesn't open his mouth and talk trash. He lets his game do the talking which most guys usually don't do. Shaq can talk and I don't have a problem with it because his resume shows that he has the right 2. I hope Yao gets to where Shaq has been.
Sounds like is taking the role of "elder statesman" of centers as the new young guys come into their own. Plus, he's getting older and more mellow -- off the court anyway. He seems to have found the fountain of youth on the court this year. I thought he was just about washed up, but he's had quite a year.
shaq always got love for yao b/c yao has always showed the utmost respect to shaq, even when shaq has bad games, he would still compliment shaq.
