None of those things have anything to do with the point I was addressing. I only take exception to how ridiculous the line of thinking that "the only way to stop someone who is gonna murder someone is with another gun" is. Uh. Well if they didn't have guns in the first place like in those other countries I mentioned then there wouldn't be a need to stop them with guns anyway. I don't need to, since that is irrelevant to what I was saying. More guns = more Liberty, less guns = less freedom isn't an ideology I adhere to. That's great if that works for you. It still doesn't make your bull**** about people not putting thought into things they say true. Yes, it's not simple. But the status quo isn't some amazing ideal worth defending as you and many others would like to make it out to be.
So move to a country that better suits your values if you are so at odds with the constitution in the US. If they will take you, I'm sure you'll be happier there. Your obsessive desire to rip up the Constitution because you are afraid of inanimate objects is pretty sad.

You realize the constitution and our laws can be changed, right? We have different laws today than we did 220 years ago. Hell, in some parts of the country we have different laws today than we did yesterday. This is why people debate politics and law. This is why we're on this forum. This is like talking to a windsock dancer outside a mattress store.

Where in Europe did you go and why did you hate it? I cannot fathom a rational, valid reason to hate Rome or Berlin or Amsterdam or Paris. Those cities are awesome places to visit with days and days (actually weeks) of amazing experiences waiting to be had.
The only way "some kid" kills hundreds of people is if it is left completely defenseless. If that happens, I would certainly hope that it would inspire change to better protect schools. "Gun free zones" (read: easy targets) with only token security won't cut it anymore, hopefully we realize that before something worse happens.

mc, I would have no problem with that as long as we can keep all the liberals, like yourself, on the other side of the wall. All the people moving to Texas from liberal states has me worried they will start voting liberal in our great state and cause it to become screwed up like the states they left.
