I didn't attack Oprah. I asked her to change her mind. She's allowed plenty of political candidates on her show. She just drew the line with this election, coincidentally after she had had Obama on a couple of times and after she had thrown her support behind him. Let's drop this pretense of her neutrality.

I'm not saying make an exception for Palin, so again I'm not criticizing Oprah. I'm saying that Palin is an overwhelmingly natural and historic guest for Oprah and she should reverse her stand because of the epic proportions of this historic election.

I know lots of people who have done likewise. He's not being attacked for doing that. His qualification, for having done that, as a presidential candidate is being brought into question.

It was one of the first things he did after college and he talks about it because of it's effect on him and his outlook on things, why are we talking about it like it's his sole qualification for being president? It's like saying Palin's only been a local sports anchor in Alaska.

Only in the fact that we can't elect a geriatric President that could keel over at any minute leaving the country in the hands of someone as inexperienced and right wing as Palin.

Oprah would be well within her rights to say she only wants Obama/Biden on her show because that's the ticket she wants to win. She is not a news organization who is supposed to show any kind of objectiveness. The fact that she has put the kibosh on having any candidates as guests during this campaign should show that she is neutral.

If these women want to learn about Sarah Palin, there are plenty of places they can learn about her. It's pretty insulting to them to assume they only get their information from Oprah.

Just more proof that conservatives will whine about anything in any form of media that doesn't gargle their collective marbles.

WTF, I just turned on ESPN and they aren't interviewing Sarah Palin. They have a damn baseball game on.

ESPN did a puff piece w/ Obama awhile back. Now I want Stewart Scott finishing up an interview w/ 'Mrs. Palin, you are as cool as the other side of the pillow. BOO YA!' *fist bumps* But no.

    This is bull****.

Palin can't go on Oprah anways because she's too busy learning the stuff she supposedly already knows.

Here's some video coverage of Palin's kids with McCain. Watch about the 1 min. mark how strange McCain's embrace and rub down of Plain's daughter and her redneck boyfriend is.

Thanks. I think even trying to make a neutral point these days is unpopular.

Let us know when Palin starts touting her sports job as a qualification for being VP.

As I read Obama's CV, he only spent 3 years as a community organizer from 1985-88, law school from 1988-91, law teaching career from 1991-2003 overlapping with Illinois state senate from 1996-2004, another appearance on Oprah in 2006 and a run for president since then.

Reads more like a VP CV...
