    Kind of crazy. Her show first premiered 8 days before I was born.

    I don't know what it's like to exist without Oprah on TV.

    I've never understood the reason behind Oprah carrying such importance. Have watched bits and pieces here and there and I just never got it, of course I'm not the target audience.

    Important to note that her show will end on broadcast television. There is talk that she will do her show in some form on her network (OWN) the Oprah Winfrey Network.

    I think you're missing a few zeros there. Oprah may be worth about a billion dollars, but no person is worth nearly what the US deficit is (about one trillion dollars).

    I never liked her fake ass emotional / spiritual crap. Although I must give her props for making billion dollar empire off middle aged women. The worst thing was the stupid freebies and the orgasmic level of moaning that followed from her crowd.
