one more thing i forgot to add...

tmac (atleast for a star wing player) and everyone else on the rockets accept for Landry and Harris are poor finishers around the basket. We can't expect them to run the offense that Rick usually runs that involves cuts and guys finishing around the rim.

He has to, and has been all season, try to taylor his offense to the skills of his players. So far the only effective plays he has come up with is tmac reading the D for an interior pass, Scola post ups, and drive and kicks for 3 pointers. Everything else has come from good D and running the break. The teams that blow us out figure out that if they double tmac, play solid D on Scola, and stay in front of the 3 point shooters we can't do much.

I see tmac or a PG hit open players from mid range on many occasions but unless its tmac (who is quickly covered) or Scola (who hasn't been shooting that jumper well) no one else is attacking the defense. They either pull it back out and waste time or stand there basically waiting for the D to rotate back on to them and pass it back to a guard for a last second jumpshot.

You don't think so? When he got swatted by Anthony Carter and Marcus Mamby 2 possessions in a row? He completely dissappeared after that....
    So, Yes really.......
