Again, Bats, that was before the game changed and those states became relevant.

So because the race turned out to be a close one it's disengenuous not to change the rules? You are making my head explode.

The game changed when the states became relevant. They became relevant because the election is close, not because Hillary is losing.

Are any of you here to say that if everyone knew then what they know now, that they would have disenfranchised the voters from two key states, like FL and MI? I say no way. No way in hell. That's why Batman's argument is so disingenuous. It's hiding behind a technicality, not owning up to reality.

It's pretty clear Bats is biased since his candidate stands to lose a lot if the people of Michigan and Florida receive a vote. His position is that their votes should not count. That's just not right.

So the rules were only put in place because people didn't think those states would matter? The whole point of moving early is to matter more (in theory). If you only punish when it doesn't matter, then next time, everyone will just flaunt the rules and move up.

The rules were put in place for a specific reason. That reason hasn't changed. In fact, it's only been amplified. Now, it's a very real punishment and in 2012, *no one* will try to break it. Mission accomplished.

If you want to talk "reality" Jorge, chew on this.

We can change the rules now and give Hillary every single vote she wants and she will still lose. I'm having fun watching you twist yourself into a pretzel over FL and MI, but the fact is we can seat them all and it won't matter.

Obama will be the nominee and even several of Clinton's prominent backers now acknowledge that "reality," privately at least.

Here's some more "reality" for you.

    Obama vs. McCain.

After all your efforts (and Rush's), you will have to face Obama in the fall. And you are going to get your asses kicked.

Didn't have time to read the thread but I'm guessing that "Operation Chaos" is the title that historians have decided to refer to the Bush Administration?

You've got the intent wrong. Rush's intent is to give Hillary more life in the primary, which will allow more and more dirt to be thrown between the two, which will "bloody" up Obama. So, when Obama is put against McCain in the general, the dirt is out there already, and the Republicans weren't the ones to bring it up.
The Republicans supposedly don't want to be accused of being racist, which is inevitable, and Hillary is already under fire for the same. The two Dems will hurt each other for as long as they can, as they fight to the last minute for the nomination.
Rush doesn't want Hillary to win, just give her more time to throw some punches.

    Get it?

The longer they fight, the less rest they have and the less time they get to prepare for a national election that works differently than the primaries.

Battle tested is one thing. Stretched thin is another.
