This team still has a winning record. I don't see the need to boo them. They played over expectations early on in the season, had a great road trip, and beat some good teams this month. Just because they collapsed at the end of the season, doesn't mean they should be boo-ed.

For all the pro-tankers and anybody that wants to boo the players we currently have and the people in charge (Les Alexander, Morey, and McHale), you should be ashamed calling yourself fans, esp if you want to boo during the halftime ceremony.

You should all be thankful that this team is competitive and not as big of a joke as the Charlotte Bobcats (riding a 20 game losing streak). Me personally, I like seeing my team play hard out there trying to win games and ride into the postseason and not tank it every night.

I am damn proud of these Rockets for what they've given us this season.

    Awww man please

The Rockets back to back championships all started when they were the worst team in the league two years in a row.

I think fans would trade 1 or 2 years of suck to become contenders rather than being merely "competitive" year after year after year after....

Can't attend the game and can't watch on TV? I guess I'll boo the newspaper as I read about how we close the season on a whimper.

SMH at booing. The Team of 2000s deserves better than that. Yao gave us everything he had, Scola is giving it to us now. Battier was a consummate professional. Don't like TMac/Stevie but the three guys I listed above them deserve to be respected for all that they gave us.

The Warriors fans booing Lacob made the Warrior fans look bad. Not because they were booing Lacob but they were ruining the night in which Chris Mullin's jersey was retired. Do we really want to make Houston fans look like that?

All that being said, GO HORNETS. Lets make sure we wrap up 13th overall.

    Wow. Just wow.

I'm sure you were one of the people that was crapping their pants with excitement and anticipation after the 4 game road winning streak too.

You so-called fans are the most bi-polar I've ever seen.

The Rockets should hope for boos. Boos mean people are angry, which means they still care.

The biggest fear for the Rockets shouldn't be boos...it should be silence. Silence from apathy.

Why is it that whenever someone disagrees with someone else, they are labeled as a hater? The Rowdies aren't what they used to be. By used to be, I mean tolerable.

My humble opinion is that Houston Rockets fans don't have the guts to do this with consistency. I have seen other cities go on strike against their teams, and also let their voices be heard to team management by booing on a consistent basis at games, or not just showing up at all. But i dont think Houston has the guts to do it:rolleyes:

well i can't speak on being a rowdy during the past years since this is my first season being a rowdy, but from having experience of going to games before this season, they are the same as right now. tolerable
