Well the 1st round elimination last year didn't kill the Rockets, it made them stronger. But after all those 1st round eliminations, you could say that the Rockets have been getting stronger over the years....i don't know, ask the guy who selected the song. The beat of "stronger" is a sample from daft punk. It's a good dance song, but it doesn't get me hype. I like songs that instill killer instinct in you. Songs that make you envision competition and your victory. Stronger's beat doesn't fit the bill. I just see those old school shades Kanye wears and Don Johnson. Call me crazy...
Interesting... I didn't notice Francis on the list of players named as a part of the tradition. Were there any Francis highlights? There were, however, a few Van Gundy shots in the video.

I thought the intro was amazing. There was a clip of Francis because I remember it had the old court still, thats how i knew it wasn't from this year, but he was on there.
Yea, I had asked about that vid last season, but no one seemed to have it. If someone from the Rockets can hook us up, that would be awesome!
The intro song was the original version by Daft Punk. Far be it for ANYONE to not know that Kanye just found a song and sampled it. The version they played opening night was the original Daft Punk version.
I have the original, but it didn't sound like the original opening night. It really did sound like Kanye's version. But hey, I could be wrong.
I just watched the vid, I suppose it could be the original one with just the parts used in the Kanye sample looped over and over again since the original is much more varied and doesn't really repeat itself.
Remember that one from last year, actually got me choked up just now. Can't wait till this years Playoffs.
