"He is going to win a couple of superbowls in a couple of years." Rich 'have you seen his package' Lord. hi, 2006
There's this: "But he took his stand in the midst of the plot, defended it and struck the Philistines; and the LORD brought about a great victory"
Per Chron: Spoiler http://tinyurl.com/l5klw96 It may appear to be Yates, but in the OTA vids, I don't see Case getting a whole lot of reps. Could he be the odd one out?
I certainly don't think Yates being cut over Keenum is a given. I'm not saying that I expect Yates to win the backup job (with Savage being 3rd string), but I wouldn't be surprised. We don't know how well either are handling OBs system and Case did struggle with Kubiak's offense last year, even when it was modified to try and fit his strengths. And, OB does seem to have a preference for QBs with prototypical size, which TJ has and Case doesn't. Anyway, I heard somebody on the radio say they thought Case would be the choice because he has more potential. I'm not sure that's really much of a factor. I don't think either QB is in the long term plans of the franchise. And assuming we try to draft a franchise QB with a high pick next year, I doubt whoever doesn't get cut is still on the team in 2015. I think who makes the team is mostly going to be about what they can do this year if they're asked to play.
I didn't want to start another thread about kickers, but does anyone know how Randy Bullock and the other guy are doing. Last year, it was abysmal, and I'm hoping for a change, but no one is really talking about special teams that much.
It's going to be Fitzpatrick winning the starting job, but Tom Savage could surprise. Tom Savage has a big body, he's not too athletic, but he is big. And he has good arm, he is smart and if he learns the system fast he may surprise. But like I said, Fitzpatrick is going to be the starter.
