OPEN PRACTICE **ROLL CALL**

I'm gonna go but since I don't work Downtown anymore it will take 30 min just to drive there and back so I need to know when the practice will be and not all the other BS so that the 30-45 min I can be there it will be worth it.

 

just saw in the chron that practice will be around 1:30 can someone confirm that?

Can somebody please tell me what time the practice actually starts and ends? I cant get there until about 1. Is it still worth it for me to still go?

HOUSTON -- The Rockets are swinging the doors of Toyota Center open Monday for the team's annual open practice.

The event is free to the public, with the first 1,000 fans receiving a voucher to either join the team's post-practice autograph session or shoot a free throw on the Rockets' home court! The practice will begin at 12:30 p.m.

Along with getting an opportunity to watch Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming workout with the rest of the team for the first time this season, fans will have a chance to view the team's brand new floor. The court has been redesigned to feature a two-tone, wood-style look that should create a more vibrant view of the action.

Don't miss your first chance of the season to see the new-look Rockets.

 

Ya thanks for bolding that. I got the fact that it begins at 1230 what i'm asking is when it ends? As in how long is the actual practice portion of the event.

I was driving downtown for a mtg and saw people already waiting in line at 9:45 AM! That is dedication!!! Unfortunately I won't be able to go (I've been the last 3 seasons Yao & T-Mac have been together and we haven't gotten out of the first round), maybe me not going this time will be good luck!

i wish i could go, like many other probably, but work has me tied down during the middle of the months. I CANT WAIT TILL TOMORROW NIGHT... I think I might cry when I see our Rockets take the court again.

 

We've had crappy seasons every year I went so this year I'm not going for the sake of clutchfans.
