Just came back from open practice. I left sometime I'm guessing near the middle of the scrimmage. Yao wasn't there! Altogether, it was a relatively low scoring affair.

The guys really d up. Lucas looked pretty good moving the ball up the floor, but the guy is tiny. So tiny in fact that Rafer looked like a center next to him.

Spanoulis looked a little discombulated. He penetrated nicely, but shot an airball, missed two freethrows, and got thrown to the ground pretty hard on a penetration, no call.

Bonzi only got the ball once while I was watching. He bogarded his way to the basket in the post and got an and1, but missed the freethrow.

Snyder also made a nice power move from the post.

Novak hit a three and has a pure stroke. He was really active, but looked scrawny. Actually, all of the guys looked incredibly thin.

They said at the end that he wasn't there because he had his toenail removed and that he should be back in a week.

just got home from the practice....the only complaint i have was that it was too short (just 1 20 mintue, running clock half)

    1) Spanoulis looked nervous or something. BUT, I liked the way he got to the bucket and kicked the ball out. His D is pretty solid too!

    2) Rafer is already taking too many shots

    3) Bonzi and T-Mac looked pretty good the few times they touched the ball

    4) Novak hit 1 3 and missed 2 more, but his shot is NICE

    5) Battier didnt do much while he was in

    6) Snyder is smaller "muscle-wise" then I thought, but he is strong as hell (made a nice post up move on someone, forgot who it was)

    7) Kelena Ezibuke looked good. I really hopes he makes the team!!

    8) Ryan Bowen didnt play, but I hope JVG realizes that there is no need for him anymore

Overall, it was good getting to see the team live. Just wish it was a lil longer

I was kinda pissed because when the fan relations dude was like "the first person to show me an old Rockets ticket stub will win a prize" I didn't think I had one. Then after a few seconds I go "hmm...I wonder if I DO have one" and sure enough I had a stub from last year against the Heat sitting right there in my wallet, but just as I raised it in the air some other dude was running up there.

I could have won if I remembered I had that damn thing in my wallet!

rafer only took 3 shots he looked real good to me the way he was diming the ball and the play of the day had to be tmac alley windmill that was nasty..spanoulis is going to get better got to the whole easy with aggresion so he needs to work on his free throws because he will get to the line..shane battier needs to stop being so complacent and shot the ball when hes open but he threw a turnover..snyder just look like an average player but i believe he will contribute big...novak rushed some shots but did pretty good..john lucas is prolly going to be the backup hes going to bring good energy..casey jacobsen did real good considering that his shot was falling and coming off screens and knocking those down..juwan howard well he was just juwan nothing impressive..bonzi was abusing spanoulis..luther head seems to be more relaxed and just playing the game..

Just came back and have to say a little disspointed with the scrimmage time. T-mac and Bonzi played what seemed like 5 minutes each. Did not have time to stick around for autographs, but I'm sure those who did enjoyed it more.

Not sure. I'm was the white guy in a gray shirt and glasses...about 8 rows from the bottom and about even with the right basket. That lady up front had one too, so maybe I wouldn't have won anyway. Oh well. I'll keep it in my wallet for next year, just in case :D

Battier started at the 4 for the "white" team AKA "the starters". Forgot to mention earlier, Casey Jacobson looked real good...should make the team because he can shoot

Plus T-MAC had an alley oop slam, then sat on the bench

Bonzi, and J.Howard did not sign autographs on the way to the tunnel.........JL3(threw his practice jersey to a fan),Scott Padget,Hayes, Head, Deke, Battier, T-Mac did sign a.graphs.

Good cheap food, good seats, practice game started very sloppy and was not long enough.

I just got back. I had some fun there, and I got Bonzi's autograph. The whole time I kept chanting "Ryan Bowen!", "Put Ryan Bowen in!", and "Let Ryan Bowen play!". He never got to play, but I still got Ryan Bowen's attention. :D
