i think it's worth it because it's one of those rare times you actually get to sit close to the court (probably 3 rows back?). and the autograph session is cool...if you score a ticket for a good player that is hahaha.
i say...few hundred. me and my friends skipped classes at UH and got in line. I think a few hundred is a good estimate..maybe even a thousand. we got there early to get the tickets for the autograph session. they had pretty good food too and it was free last year. all around, not a bad way to waste an hour or two
Very cool, thanks! I think I'll probably make the trip from Austin then. My two boys (15 & 11) are still undecided whether they want to go or not. I was just worried that it would be a disappointment.
i'd try to get there early so they can get the tickets. i don't know how they are going to do it this year, but last year they had tickets for the autographs and shooting sessions on the court. The players would shoot around with the kids so that would be something to look for. It's not an all day thing so I don't want to get your hopes up.
The last open practice I went to, I saw Jason Collier throw down a very impressive dunk over Yao. R.I.P.
I just heard that OPEN PRACTICE will also be the chance for fans to see some of the new Houston Rockets Power Dancers! Monday, October 9th - 12:15 pm doors open Can't wait!
So exactly how many pictures of me do you have? You don't have "those" pictures, do you? in any event, I'm sure I can spot you before me. You're the wondering eye type...I can spot you across the bar like nothing. bet me
My wife and kids and of course I will be there. I am driving in from Dallas. I can't wait! I will see all of yall who are there!
Yes I would love to give a complete stranger that asked me on the internet a ride to the toyota center. Haha jk...I'm the type of person that would be stupid enough to do that, but unfortunately my friends taking us from UH.
I'll be there for sure with a friend or two at high noon... I don't want to get over geeked but I have this weird, giddy feeling in the pit of my stomach about this season. It could be something special if the stars align for us. GO ROCKETS!
just you from the old "chopping"days. no... i don't have those pictures. llololol. wondering eye type? no... not really, but i don't think you want to make that bet. and yeah... no one remembers the "looks like..." madness that made clutch close half the threads in the hangout at the time.
You guys should get the TMAC chant going. (MVP etc.) like when we first brought him over from Orlando and it was open to the public. That was awesome! What a blast....I'm not going to make it to tomorow's open practice though.
