I almost stopped reading at TMAC in the title, then I tried to read through the rest of it. I got stonewalled at the part where you said he lead us to a 22 win streak without Yao. You do realize that Yao played in half of that streak right? T-Mac only led us to the latter half of the streak. Guess where T-Mac never lead ANY team in his entire career? T-Mac was a great player, the keyword being was. It doesn't matter how many good things he had done for us, none of that outweighs all the bad things and antics with us. When all is said and done, T-Mac is simply another player that had all the right things going for him and he pissed it all away.

here is my open letter to tracy mcpippen...

    you are a horrible teammate.
    you are a quitter.
    you betrayed your teammates.
    you are unprofessional.

    SEE MY SIG YOU JACK-HOLE!!!

hey threadstarter - have you ever watched a rockets game? mcgrady is a team player? mcgrady has heart? please!

was mcgrady 'trying' when he quit on multiple plays, forcing his teammates to go 4 on 5?

and you think it was the 'media' who made people turn on mcpippen? how about what we saw w/ our own eyes or heard w/ our own ears - how did the media spin t-mac quitting in mid-game? how did the media spin t-mac calling the lakers to win it all? how did the media spin t-mac declaring season ending surgery w/ out telling the team first? how did the media spin t-mac dressing out when he wasnt supposed to and causing all kinds of distractions the last month?

You lost me with, "The reason i love the Nba and The Houston Rockets was because of you".

Then to read, "who wouldn't forget how you carried this team EVERYTIME we were in the playoffs".

If you don't want to get your feelings hurt, never have these words in the first paragraph of your post. This Tracy thing is old, leave it be. Basically you lost me at "Hello".

Really? Who could forget? I wish I could. I wish I'd wake up and all this was a bad dream and Tracy was still getting boo'ed in Orlando.

    Well... to the OP,

That's a nice sincere post, but u seem to miss the truth behind Tracy. He is anything but a team player and he has shown it time and time again. In fact he makes it very clear he doesn't care one bit about Brooks, Landry, Scola, Budinger or anyone but himself. He proves this point by only needing 6 games to show that he can not play only 8mins a game. He would rather be traded than prove he can play with OUR team.

Put myself in his shoes!!???! Are you kidding??? Who wouldn't like to be paid 23 MILLION DOLLARS IN ONE YEAR TO WORK OUT WITH A trainer to get in shape!

How does he repay us? Wine and cry to the media that he isn't treated fairly.

And to your 30 seconds of fame for tmac that won us a game against sa... yes that was amazing. But 30 seconds of greatness in 5 years is little to show for all the money he has made.

Bye tracy. Hope you make your money somewhere else. Because I sure as hell wouldn't sign your checks anymore if I was in Les' shoes.

I actually did read it and now I wish I had gouged my eyes out with rusty needles instead. It's just mushy drivel. I won't even bother to point out the flagrant and repeated grammatical violations.

The GIFS were hilarious, but incomplete. We need the one of the douche crying for Brittney and then we can call it a thread.

    no, we do hate you.

you TOF's just dont get it. NOBODY hates mcgrady b/c of the injuries - its not about the injuries - nobody wants to be injured - mcpippen cant help it and he is not hated for being injured.

when yao is ready to play again he will be welcomed back w/ open arms by his teammates and the fans - the reception he gets in his first home game is going to be loud! (the reception mcgrady gets on his next game here will be loud too, but in a much, much different way)

the difference is that yao is a good teammate who puts the team over himself. he doesnt spout off to the media every chance he gets. he doesnt quit on the team during games. he doesnt call other teams to win the title while his team is still in the playoffs. he doesnt announce he is having season ending surgery thru the media before telling the team (his boss).

that is why mcpippen is hated - injuries have nothing to do w/ it.

    PS

I would rather have had Francis for 5 more years instead of tracy. At least Francis had heart.

First off congrats on the newborn. Hope he is healthy and everything is well. Now yes you would be mistaken. I did start the petition to keep TMac thread but that was to help me update my ignore list. Im tired of coming here and reading all the TOF's nonstop whinning. If they arent fans of the team first then I dont want to hear what they have to say.

I have better things to do with my time than read post after post about how the team screwed TMac.

The greatest NBA joke of all time.
I'm talking from the beginning of hoops. Dr Naismith told this joke too.

You don't get it right? The TOF is the dumbest fan in the NBA. He makes Marbury fan look like the bad guy in that movie the Watchmen.

They are just like their idol, they don't care about championships or accomplishments, they only care about EXCUSES.

No championships - it's the teammates

No MVPs - if he were not hurt

No Glory - everyone hates them

If Kobe - no. not ever. at any point in his life including his birth was he ever better than Kobe at basketball.

I think Yao fans are about 1000000x smarter than TOF. I would trade all the TOFs for Pryuen's "Yao got a haircut" threads again.

I really don't like T-mac, but I respect your passion. My advice is to condense this a bit and work on your spelling and grammar. It's a bit painful to get through.
