The Chronicle said they may not even be open tomorrow because they don't have baggage people. Flying out For those residents trying to return to Houston by airplane, the problem isn't so much fuel as the lack of workers at Houston's airports, which suffered only minor damage to runway lights and signs. Southwest and Continental airlines don't expect to resume any flights before Sunday as the airports try to find enough baggage screeners, as well as flight controllers, concession operators and cargo handlers. "I'd expect there will be some flights, but there might not be full schedules,'' said Houston Airport System spokesman Richard Fernandez. "That's why it's critical to check with your carrier. Why make a trip to the airport and waste precious fuel if your flight isn't scheduled?'' http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/topstory2/3367699
The wife and I went up to The Dugout sports bar, located on Hwy-6 near Westhiemer. It was nice to get out for some cold beer and watch some sports. One of the only places we could find open on the west side of town. They said they would be open until 2:00am. It's a good spot. We're thinking about going back up there later.
The Rent party at Meridian is ON tonight. That might be fun. South Beach, JR's and etc are open tonight, too.

Katz's was boarded up tight. I don't recall OPEN being spray painted on the plywood. Not sure as their status today, I didn't drive by or walk down there. I liked the La Tratoria guy story on Ch. 2 yesterday, they are bound to be open again today.
Man Just finished eating at Chachos... All I can say is get ready for a wait. Waited 1 hour for my food. The place was wall-wall packed. Ran out of Burrito's and Quesadillas items so can't order those. But everything else is still good.
I saw a lot of stores open today. It looks like many of the restaurants in the Fountains area of Missouri City are open. Lowes theatres too.
McDonalds, Blockbuster, and Los Cucos are all open near the intersection of Clay and Highway Six. Anyone in the Woodlands know if they have gas up there?
I went to HEB today. There was a lot of people there, but it appeared they brought in a lot more people to work the cash registers today.
Starbucks is open inside the Randalls on Westheimer at Wilcrest. Was hoping to go have dinner tonight at 713, but they're not answering the phone so I guess they're closed.
