All Marlins still available too, some more than others. I have 3 closers in the majors so if anyone is in need for one a deal can be made.
He is not unavailable, but he is - if you understand what I mean. It will take a pretty good deal for me to consider letting him go as of now. But if you have something that you think would qualify, then give your offer and I will see what we have. In other news - anyone have a major league ss that I could trade for? That is the position I am in most need of upgrading.
Haha - Collusion. I just thought that giving that as a reason was way funnier than saying that Vizquel suck as bad as my current shortstops. And too the collusion accusations (apart from saying ha) I think I did good in both Burks deals. I was set to keep him if not Vick offered as much as he did.
DV, You do know Zimmerman is out for 36 weeks right? Unless castor is reseting the injuries somehow. How about Urbina + Juan Gone for Williams, Cruz Jr, and Linden?
Karim Garcia is on the block with a major league leading 7 homers. He also is hitting .370 with 18 RBI.
The drastic splits that many players experience in this league as well as an unfortunate tdev leave me in a position of needing a major league SS who can hit righties better than Mike Bordick can, which isn't difficult to do. In a brief perusal, San Diego's Ramon Vazquez as well as Jose Valentin of Chicago (A) struck me as good potential candidates. If any of the rest of you out there have someone who can fit the bill, do not hesitate to inform me. As for those two, IVFL, Drew, are they available? I should note that there is a free agent out there who would be sufficient if all else failed and I'd rather this wasn't a major deal, so name your asking price with this in mind
I know Zimmerman is injured in real life, and I thought that would be the case here, but I still prob have minor interest then.
Zac I could part with Vasquez, the only problem is that he is my utility guy, but other than that, it should only take a GGBGG hitting prospect for him . I know that guy is pure gold, if you get him on your team. As for the Padres, I have come to the realization that the Padres wont be wining real soon, so anyone with a contract over a million dollars is available, as long as they are not what I "consider" a prospect. Guys like Nevin and Hoffman are on the block though, I am looking for prospects and stuff. . . .
Well, everyone knows what the Reds need, Starting Pitching. With that in mind, I am actively looking for it. Nearly anyone is available for the right price (this includes Dunn and Kearns, note this does not mean I'll trade them for 3 AAGA prospects). On a similar, but different note, Vandal I do have an interest in B-Lawrence, he has a contract of 1,000,000+, would he be available?
hey chuck, would you be interested in Garrett Stephenson? Yeah, he sucks against lefties, but there are hardly any around these days, and he's real good against righties. He would seem to be an upgrade on Davis and Reitsma. Tomko and Woody Williams could be available as well, if you wanted one of them instead of Stephenson. I'm interested in your MR prospect Luis Pineda...
IV, I like hoffman some as well as nevin, but it depends on if I could send back some small salary with prospects(and which prospects it would take). Chuck, in the right deal, I'd offer some of my young pitching for kearns(who btw, bats righthanded in real life, not left, as his profile suggests)
DHR, I have Alou not cruz jr, and I'd prefer a smaller deal. I really cant afford Juan Gone's salary, and have nowhere to play him. linden isn't a problem in a smaller deal for uggie, but I wouldn't part with williams for him. However, I would offer up williams, linden, and a future ptbnl(1st rounder) for texeira or blalock. Heath, I like brad penny, and AJ Burnett on your team. We've talked about AJ, but for brad I'd offer jerome and another decent prospect Cat, I'm interested in Steve Kline, JD Drew and maybe slightly in matthews.
