Well, I would assume that like Castor and others you'll allow us to do a trade even if it was after the week, correct? Because you're simming two weeks at a time, it's impossible to see half of the trade offers before the week is up. Now if you simmed again before Buck accepted I certainly understand, but I'm just trying to find out what's up...
I always redid them as long as it was the current sim. If you sim more than one week then they always remove the bid. So when you do 2 weeks at a time most trades get withdrawn before they can be accepted. Now I would not do trades that were offered in may and the current date was July.
Cat, I would if it was in the current sim of course, but the trade was offered 2/28, and there have been 2 updates between than and the current thread(3/1,3/31). Besides, I offered the same trade to them, and they rejected it now.
You can do it however you want Chuck since you are the commissioner. But just to clarify how I did it, I always did any offer from the offseason as long as I had not simmed games(I know I did not say that last time but that was how I did it). The other thing is that the computer will very rarely accept a trade even if it is one that they offered. To get them to work you have to put the computer on the left side of the trade screen and the human on the right.
I suppose this qualifies as a "transaction"... turn Boston back to computer control. I took them because I had two pitchers to build around, and both have dramatically declined in the first month. And to be fair to Chuck, I'll stay out until after the season ends. I know me switching teams the first time was a b**** on him because he had to set the lineups, and I wouldn't want to make him do that again. I would technically like to select a team, Chuck, to ensure that the computer makes no silly trades and to see what offers the computer makes me, but I would keep everything on auto for this season.
I thought I could make trades as long as no games had been simmed....... But if I'm wrong I'm sorry. I was trying to make a trade with Zac while he was still Tor, and that is why I didn't input the KC trade. I decided to gamble with Koskie at 2B so I went ahead and did the trade. Whatever you decide is fine but I would really like the trade to happen per Castor's comments.
