VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!! Heath found a way to get around his (temporary, we hope) problem of not being able to post on the BBS from home: On the "index" section of the new league site, he has a forum that is dedicated to OOTP. Registration for this forum is free. Please register and post lineups, trades, spring training, trade discussion, re-signings, and anything else related to OOTP there (at least until Heath can get his routing problem fixed). The link:
Okay, bringing this thread back to the top: We have had most move over to the OOTP forum that was specifically created by Heath to get around his routing problem. If you click on the link that I quoted, it will take you to the main links for OOTP, one of them being the ezboard that is free to sign up for. However, still haven't heard from a couple of folks: Kam SamCassell bobmarley DiehardRocket boville GreenVegan76 It looks like all our lineup changes, trade discussions, etc are taking place on the ezboard, so if you haven't signed up for your free account, please do so ASAP.
Bah, I must have had an ezboard account somewhere else in a past life, because they won't let me create a new account now. I'll try to figure out a workaround (probably setting up a dummy email account) and register tonight. Sorry for the inactivity, I didn't even realize there was a new board.
That is what I was thinking. Your team is actually doing pretty good! I think if you provide ezboard, your email addy, they will email you your password.
Hey Sam, Heath can actually read the board now, so you could post your lineup here until you get your ezboard password straightened out. I would just email him through the board to make sure he checks the BBS for your lineup.
We have heard from Sam and DHR now. The other 4 teams are as of now put under computer control. This does not mean you have lost the team, only that the computer will control the teams (and maybe do trades also) until I hear from you one way or the other. You do not have to use ezboard to play in the league as I can read the BBS again, but most all of the posting goes on there as of now. Anyway reading the board doesnt take registering if you want to see the trade talk going on. There is also at the moment possible to post unregistered, but as mentioned previously registering is free, and if your name is taken you can even register locally with the ootp board only and not ezboard globally. So there should be plenty of options. Htown up - hope you make it this year - wouldnt want to pick the best available for you again - and then have him make the fastest career to the majors ever only to retire after 1 year due to a career ending injury. It would suck if that happened to you again.
