The percentage thing is a backup at each position.

You have a starter and can name up to 2 backups each position and how often they should play. You can also set a defensive sub for each position for protecting late game leads. You do use a depthchart with backups as the given starter can't play 100% of the time, then they will get tired. My percentages is though way higher than that as I want some of my players getting more playing time to hopefully help development etc. Giving a player 10% rest should be enough to keep him from getting tired. Outfielders only need a couple (3-5%). Catchers can need more.

If you run your guys into the ground you will find them listed at the page as tired position players. If you have given the backups enough percentage this will usually be 'None'

    Chuck,

You missed this post in the last sim. Atlanta no longer is under computer control, it is under GreenVegan76 control. Since he took the time to post a lineup, can you please change Atlanta over to him?

    Thanks.

Not sure how chuck wants to handle rosters but I know since there are a lot of new faces that the following link may be helpful to some of them. If only to help clarify how the game handles rosters. I know from experience that things were easier on me if they were done in the format I, ermm, suggested ;).

OK manny, I would have responded sooner, however I had to get over my confusion as to why someone who makes kneejerk reactions that take me 10 minutes to input only to have you switch them again next sim is worried about people's time :).

As to why I didn't input his lineup changes: They had Wainwright in his rotation, Adam is on the DL and thus I could not change that, so Ididn't know how that would affect it. However now that Vegan should have a better understanding of the DL process, that shouldn't be a problem on his next lineup :).

Final thing, I know you have a tendancy to get very....emotional shall we say, especially with me, I can recall several instances. I don't mind you disagreeing, or getting mad at me. However, very few things are more offensive than being talked down to, just remember that for future reference.

Also, keep this thread for lineups, procedure questions post them in the other OOTP threads, I don't like scrolling through 5 posts of dialogue to find lineups ;)

Well, I did it to prove a point, Chuck. But it has been settled. I just don't want GV or anyone else to get discouraged and leave the league if they post a lineup but their team is still showing "computer manager" as the manager. Also, you should know better than anyone that Heath likes to argue with me on the BBS and I like to argue back with him - those things should not be taken seriously, if they are, then I would worry about the people who are taking them seriously.:D

And for the record, I have apologize to you for times in the past that I have lost my cool and I will apologize again, if it means anything to you. I am happy that you have decided to run the league. I know that it is hard to believe, sometimes, that I would be grateful for you to do that, but it is true. But I promise I will try to do better as maybe it is stress or something else, but I have been a little edgy of late.

You took that as talking down to you? Well, I guess we can call it even when you took a potshot at me with my girl troubles in that thread about moe that was closed, can't we?;)

doesn't feel too good, does it? But I am sorry for that, as well.:)
