ooh-ooh, Can I make a knee-jerk reaction to one game

I've stoped critisizing these players,as its become too much of a headache to yell at my tv. So i've turned to laughing at the ones whom make themselves look really stupid

Lakers fans are shrugging the loss off, saying that it is obvious that the Lakers will come out on top eventually. That's what I hate. Some people have to recognize that the Lakers are vulnerable and can lose a playoff series. This was a bad loss for them. The Lakers are struggling, this will not be easy to 'shrug off.'

 

This is where i couldn't agree with you more, Cat. I am a Lakers fan, plus a Spurs hater, but you couldn't be more correct. This LA team isn't even as good as the team that won last year, and that's not a slight at the spurs at all. If Tim Duncan plays well, and they bury some three's, i think they can push LA. However, when it all comes down to it, I think that the Kobe-Shaq combo is just too much firepower for the spurs. The SA defense is good, but I don't think that offense can put up enough points to counter that 1-2 punch.

I think a team like Dallas is the most dangerous because of its plentiful players with scoring ability. However, dallas has no front court beef, and ultimately, that will keep them from dethroning LA as well.

I still stick with LA in this series. I think i said 5 originally, and that still sounds ok. I just had a gut feeling that SA would take one of those first two games. they are a mentally sound team that is experienced enough to handle the road games, even if LA is an environment full of primadonna celebrity fans.

 

Just for the record, Ferry is hurt. He`s had to step inside the 3 point line to take his shot. It may look awkward but it`s effective
