uhhh this post is obviously not sticking to the topic. Yao is so freggin tall that if the ref watch his feet, they cant watch his arms and hands, so he can get away with travel if they focus on his hands, which he often does, and everyone does get slapped with non sense fouls, if you saw the heats rox game, Shaq was clearly fouled by Yao, and didnt get the call.

    black tic-tacs:confused:

I think there is a little bit of both cuz he's the only tall dude on the court....so they're paying special attention to him. But at the same time, they're not giving him prop or fair call at all. Defenders jump and swatting Yao's arms preventing the dunk and the refs are clueless thinking it's a block. If it's Oneal, they would call it a foul EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Even if it's a clear block and they still call it a foul..cuz that's how prejudice NBA refs are, they're calling it based on "superstar status," making a player appear to be even more dominant. I remember how Kobe Bryant get the same treatment as well when he play against the Kings....every time he drove to the basket and there is a ONLY slight contact...(and i am not talking about huge collision), just a slight contact and it's all inititated by Bryant and he gets the foul call every single damm time. Now if you changed the scenerio and let a rookie drive to the basket and initiate the same contact, do you think he will get the call??? **** NO!!! That's how prejudice NBA refs are.

The only refs that are consistent with their calls in ANY SPORTS in the world is the soccer refs in my opinion. NBA refs are very inconsistent!

    :( :( :(
    some people are really sad.

I think it is a conspiricy. the nba does not want foreign people to succeed. Look At the almighty Serge, he was great, and then he played for houston and they did not give him enough playing time to show the world that is was the best Basketbal player ever.

Why do some people see racisme in everything. that is just pathetic.
racisme is in te eye of the beholder.
    :p

A question for the board, how comes when a black person or African American brings up the race card, eventhough it is so ridiculous, so ludicrous , but he or she is still receiving the benifit of a doubt, but when other race brings up the race card, it's automatically dismissed and gets laughed at? It makes you go Hmmmm sometimes!:(

Taiwanese independence, North Korean nuclear proliferation, and now this!

    I suppose a Sino-US war is inevitable.
