There are probably dozens of individual career paths, job functions, industries or firms in certain cities or regions where 40+ million blacks are disproportionately represented, but racist conservatives like Wattafan can't imagine us as anything other than athletes, so the jerkoffs fixate on a field that has maybe 2,000 - 3,000 participants at most in a country of 300+ million.
OP does not explain himself. Dude in the video says white privilege is real. He complains about education and says "The white students get the better of the deal." (2:51) Dude in the video is a cop who meets criminals everyday. I have about eighty students this semester: no Blacks.
Proof is in the pudding -- look at all the jobs immigrants have in all professions. No one needs to imagine anyone doing anything, in America if you can perform you will be hired. And you have an unfair advantage due to your race, so take advantage instead of projecting hate. And speak out against black on black crime which kills more blacks than every other cause combined and squared.
Coaching and management across the major sports and colleges are a perfect example that dispute your “if you can perform, you will be hired” comment. Why aren’t there more black coaches, managers, GMs, team presidents, college athletic directors, etc? Clearly there are a number of blacks that are qualified, yet they aren’t being hired. Why is that?
Because affirmative action doesn't win games? Plenty of guys given a chance and made long careers despite being terrible like Doc Rivers , Michael Jordan and Isiah Thomas (off the court), and there are guys who succeed like Masai Ujiri, who started as a scout or analyst I believe. Only about skin color in your head
Even more terrible white coaches and executives have carved long undistinguished careers. Less than 15% of the major conference head basketball coaches are black, even though there are many black assistants. For some reason, all those black assistant rarely get a head position. If you think that racism doesn't still exist in the hiring and advancement practices of many American companies, there's no use bothering to try and discuss it with you. In 2020, 1% of fortune 500 companies have a black ceo. 1 percent. Based on a 2019 study, only 3.2 percent of executives and senior manager-level employees are black. 3.2 percent.
