The best I think you will see is Ralph Sampson v2.0, which would still be hard to watch, but this guy won't suddenly become more durable in a more demanding physical setting with twice as many games, LOL.

Remember how the evil NBA gifted generational talent Zion to the huge New Orleans market and shafted poor little New York?

Or how in 2015 they gifted KAT to Minnesota, while the struggling small town Lakers barely missed out (three second picks in three years)?

    It's so obvious.

They also have only 1 person who knows the results. It's hilariously rigged.

Water is wet, San Antonio sucks, NBA is rigged. Nothing new to see here.

No one is passing on Scoot. If the hornets are somehow dumb enough to do that, he isn't making it past 3.

I hate that they didn't get in the top 3, but honestly….what do the Rockets need?

They have a solid backcourt (they just needs to mature).

They have Bari and Eason as forwards of the future.

    And baby Joker at Center.

If they luck up and get Scoot, great….but if they end up having to take Hendricks or Thompson….is what it is.

Maybe they swing this pick to trade for Brown without having to give up Green.

Maybe, we'll see. Portland has a history of messing up their top picks, last year they reached for a guy at 7 no one thought would go that high and they have a lot of guards right now.

Honestly both of these teams are not very predictably run.

I’m okay with Amen. Tall point guards are the future of the league.

I could be wrong (just ask my wife!) but I don’t think he’s going to be Tim Duncan v2.0, because I don’t think he’ll be healthy enough for long enough to be that. When he plays he’ll be spectacular, I’m sure. But no player at 7’4”or taller has ever made it to 30 without limited minutes and an early retirement. I said before, whoever drafts him needs to be ready to win RIGHT NOW with all the pieces…because you don’t have very long to get the pieces right around him. Kid has ALREADY had stress fractures.

Bingo. His only hope is staying light. I want to say he’s wasted in SA but they can probably build a competitive squad around him in 2-3 years.

That said, we would have been dumb to not take him.

Of course I wish it was a rigging. I haven't seen the evidence. I hate that we came in 4th in a lottery with a consensus 1-3 picks.
