More relatively easy Distribution Center targets:

(just search the name in your map)

    karlgus
    marax

One of them had 5 soldiers or something...I think I either killed 4 of them or all.

    EDIT:

    Add these to your list:
    nightgunner
    rushgeneral
    peppe

And that says alot about our future in the rankings. We're just a tad over 50% full (17 out of 30 max). I know that there are tons of OCD Clutchfans.

I have another empire in the SouthEast region, and for some reason that one is doing a lot better.

I think he was just messing around. He only sent 1 spy who I killed. LOL.

We can definitely climb up the ranking a bit, but I think we should temper our expectations on how high. The top ten groups or so appear to be hardcore military enthusiasts and they're engaged in some pretty high scale wars with each other. If we're going to make some noise in this game, it'll be against midrange competition like us.

Hopefully in a week or so, once everybody gets settled in, we can launch some attacks and find a rival to dominate.

Wouldn't it be great if there were groups such as JazzPack or Mavericks....

Currently it looks like only one person has built an Outpost around my area, while I just made my thrid refinery...Is it better to make an outpost now or still wait til 5-6 hours before the deadline is over?

If you're still under the cease-fire then it's okay if you delay an outpost. You can't get attacked. But an outpost is definitely important to keep the vultures looking for easy pickings off your back. So make sure you've got an outpost and a bunch of militia (at least 20) up and running when your cease-fire ends.

Anybody do the math on the distance it takes to be unfavorable to steal (for a militia)?

they get $1000 per person...but I don't know the exact cost per mile for kerosene.

How the heck do I use my spies? I created some at my outpost, but when I click an enemy's holdings, it just gives me a prompt to attack.

You hit the attack button, and that brings you to a screen where you can select to spy.

I'm getting a pretty solid base here (askari). I'm cranking out the oil, have a level-3 military base, a level-6 outpost and a level-4 outpost. Could have wiped out a guy yesterday, but he begged me to let him live. lol.

I'm not sure about the Spies. I didn't loose them yesterday, but I've lost all three I've tried today. How often do you loose spies if somebody has a decent military?? Also, making Spies takes game credits, i.e. cash?

Kerosene sells for $100 bbl. Militia moves at 25 miles per bbl. So if my math is correct, 250 miles would be the break even point. Anything farther than that is losing money.

For Infantry it's $2000 per person at 25 miles per bbl of gasoline which sells for $150. So that should be 333 miles being the max distance to steal.

If they've got enough spies of their own or guard dogs, then they can detect your spies. Spies, Humvees, and certain other units do cost game credits. You can either:

    1. Donate Money
    2. Do without them, which is possible to play the game
    3. Buy it from the GC Market for in-game money. I've seen guys selling game credits for 4-5 million a piece, with is totally manageable once you build up a good economy.
