I actually used to play with the old clutchfans group. It's just been forever since I played. The wife has been playing Farmville on Facebook and it got me wanting to start up the old Oil Empires again. I was just curious if anyone from this old thread still plays, because we had a good cartel back then. I was under a different clutchfans id back then in case you see the date on this one and think I'm bs'ing.
No, no, no! That game is so insanely addicting. No more waking up at 3am to raid the farms before the other guys got there. No more politicking with this cartel or Machiavelling that one. No. ... man, it was good.
^ I really did enjoy those rounds when we went in and just dominated out of nowhere. As I recall quite a few of the long time players were so used to winning they got so mad they just quit. We had the strategy down - I would hate to even try to learn the new system (took a quick peak yesterday).
Hmm...good times... I still remember m_cable's little Clutchfans thing, us getting totally raped... then the round after, we came back, got together a pretty sick alliance. I think if those archives are still up, we had a round where both our eXploit teams were tops. I'd be kinda down to try it again.
