Honestly...they had absolutely nothing to fight with. I found the main boss and a number of others that were within 200 miles, but none of them could handle the BlackHawks. I'm going to load up on chinooks for next time, they seem to take a lot of cash. it would be cool to get enough power with one fleet to destroy a building though - anybody know how many blackhawks it would take to destroy a building?
About 100 for a low level building, about 200 for high. Fuel is the problem there. Stealth Bombers are a better bet. That's more like 10-20. But you can only knock down one level at a time. And I'm not exactly sure how a leveled building operates. I've read on the OE forum that they can still produce the same units and their queue's aren't disrupted. Not sure what the point of bombing in that case.

man i wanna get in on some of the action next week...i'm too weak now with only some militia and infantry... questions for the experienced... should i bother upgrading my military base ( i'm at level 4) trying to get tanks or just concentrate on upgrading my helipad and save for an airbase? and which is the best way to go with regards to money making ventures? buy lots of malls and upgrade or save up for stadium/resort? thanks
I'd say go for helipads and black hawks. Those things are the mvp's of this game as far as I'm concerned. As for economy make sure you've got the the refinery cycle working, and keep upgrading all parts of your oil line. Then when it comes to businesses, buy them in this order; 2 shopping centers, then 2 resorts, then 2 stadiums. Then start upgrading each of them whenever you have the money.
Time to start scouting out our next target. I want everyone to check out some enemy cartels in your area. We had about 10-15 guys participating in our previous battle, so I figured that we can take down a cartel with about 10-15 fairly decent members. We'll have the element of surprise and we'll be building up in preparation of an attack. So everything else being equal, we'll have the edge. Let's go for a cartel that closer to us. I know a bunch of you guys are in the same area, so maybe check out if there are any enemy groups around there. For the most part I think we can disregard their "Allies" unless they're obviously offshoots of the same group (i.e. ARFCOM 1, ARFCOM 2 and so on) We definitely want to tackle some tougher competition this time around. Personally, I really want to hit guys that have correctly set up their refineries. If they've got 8, 12, or 16 refineries, this means there will have a lot of oil to steal. And oil is the hardest thing to protect because it just sits there waiting for it to get sold. You can't just collect it like with cash. And in terms of your military preparation, I want everyone building towards an army of helicopters. Black Hawks (and Chinooks if possible). It's plain from experience that this is the best offensive weapon in the game aside from WMD's. Try building towards a 3-4 helipads with a bunch of black hawks in each one because of the "30 attacks per installation" rule. Also, you really need to build up your oil reserves, so either you have to start stealing, or build an oil pump/storage tank/refinery just for saving up oil. All you need is a level 2 oil pump, or level 1 oil rigg. Then you need to get a storage tank and upgrade it as far as you can. Then you need a level 1 or 2 refinery. Set the storage tank as available to the military, but don't sell anything. Connect the refinery, and change the type of oil it refines every few hours. Refine it all the way to Gasoline and then stop. In a couple days you should have thousands of bbl of gasoline to run your main units. Good Luck out there.

Damn, that sucks. Your empire was building pretty well. Try to email the admin "Nate", and see if you can get let back in because you didn't know. Or maybe we'll see you in the next round.

Wow...I leave for 10 hours...come back to 110 million. This game gets moving pretty fast once you get your oil system upgraded to the max.
