I'll second that... One of the best RTS games I've played in years, but it has a reasonably steep learning curve.
actually.... world of warcraft > crack DUE TO STRONG LANGUAGE: NOT SAFE FOR WORK (NSFW) Spoiler <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/HtvIYRrgZ04"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/HtvIYRrgZ04" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object> but how could you not love a game like this?
Well I love the game Vanguard Saga of Heroes. It is more challenging than WoW. It is more in depth as far as all of the different types of quests, crafting, diplomacy, harvesting etc. that you can do.
If you like TeamFortress 2. This game has some promise too it. It is FREE, and FREE TO PLAY in May. http://www.battlefield-heroes.com/ <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KYQP-uBijWg"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KYQP-uBijWg" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
You can play single player, but there are no campaigns, just a bunch of maps. Regardless, it's still a lot of fun.
I almost didn't play it. I got it the day it first came out, and it was unplayable. I didn't touch it for several months. Finally I read somewhere about all the changes made in order to make the game playable to more than just a handful of users on supercomputers that weren't using Vista. So I gave the game another shot. Now the only bugs I enounter are occasionally I get stuck in a rock or inside a wall. There is an in game fix for this, and so it is more of an annoyance than anything else.
Single player is like Star Control 1's "campaign mode" (or whatever it was called), updated and expanded. This game is a lot of fun, but it's totally kicking my azz.
