Oh my.. after reading that I'm thinking the online demographics must be getting younger if they like those types of pics. I still don't see what's so good about those pics other than hiding your face and any other defects.
So I've been on Match.com for about 2 months. It's full of flakes. 4 girls already with the same outcome. They are interested, as am I, then after a few weeks of emailing and texting, they suddenly disappear. Waste of money, waste of time.
Ive dated several nonfatties I've met online. (and a couple fatties) Why are you emailing for several weeks? After 3-4 emails, ask them out for coffee.
Try plenty of fish. You can weed out about 95% the women on ther based on looks but I think they can do the same so it works out well and there down to meet up quickly. Match is usually alot of texts/phone calls before they finally will meet up. But I use both.
It's really difficult to meet the right person now-a-days. Atleast it is with me. I work in an engineering job so 95% of the workers are men. Heck, 100% of my co-workers are older than me anyways, so that's that. I constantly go out to the clubs and bars on the weekends where I dance and mingle with 20 - 35 year olds there. I'm 25 btw. But after the first month of contact, that never leads to anywhere. I try meeting girls outside of the club/bar scene, but I usually settle for someone I'm not really interested in (like a B-) 'cause I don't have the nerves to approach really good looking girls in public without the help from alcohol. Anyway, I was never good at the "chat game" when I was younger, which means I wouldn't be good at meeting girls electronically. So I will never try online dating.
Oh yeah I know. That's why I dont post nearly as much anymore. Almost never in Hangout actually. :grin:
So any fellas (or birth giving humans..lol females of course) ever gotten lucky of the net? I mean, I just got out of a restricting relationship (restricting like the flow to my man part lol) jk but now that I have freed myself from such love responsibility....feel like talking to some nice females. So yeah, trying Yahoo! chat and AIM chat and some seedy social websites...but i mean, cant you just use Match or whatever and lie just to manipulate these girls just for a good time? I mean, I would use it to find a woman who wasn't insane but in the meantime if the female was actually engaging in mutual interests you know what i mean? I do not mean to demean women or anything of that sorts but there are women who wouldn't mind utilizing such websites to relieve some stress if you know what I mean? Under the guise of "finding my true love" who am I to change their tune? Anyway, I sent a message to a girl on plentyofffish.com who wanted in intimate encounter but she hasnt responded. Starting to kinda ponder that she isnt real or really a dude just wanting some straight up "man junk" pics. SOrry drunk right now. Let me know any other ones.

I'd much rather date a guy I met online than in a club. "don't date guys you meet in clubs" is a piece of advice shared amongst many females. I don't club so not a problem for me. Maybe Clutch should add a Personals section to The Hangout. lol too bad the men outnumber the women on this site. well not too bad for me anyways yahoo personals is another free site not listed previously. if you're looking for just a hookup, try craiglist. They have all kinds of freaks on there. i dont online date, yet anyways (I wont cancel that option out), but my friend just got engaged last week to a guy she met online. Funny story too, because her friend 3 years ago made her a profile on a free site as a joke. The first guy to message her is the one she is now engaged to. I wouldnt base compatibility on movies, tv shows and music Look more for same religion and political views as well as life plans. that is what will matter down the road. Rockets fan is a given.
Online dating is the best for white men, and the worst for black women according to an OKCupid study of their users. Almost 50% of white women will not date non-white men so basically, you are most likely wasting your time messaging white women if you are not a white guy. Based on my personal experience, my response rate with white women was hands down the worst (I am not white) and overall my hit rate is like 10X better if I ask out women in a bar or club so I consider online dating an extremely inefficient way to meet women.
