This is about finding evil and how evil exists even where you think it doesn't.

The righteous person knows the answer and he shall walk to the Summit.

The evil person shall walk to the Delta Center.

Artest certainly wasn't as vilified as Pippen. Pippen hurt us in that we could have gotten someone else perhaps who would have really helped us. Instead we lost that year.

neither one got us what we were hoping for - artest because of injuries and his atrocious shooting in the playoffs against L.A., and Pippen because he was just a shell of himself and basically a cancer.

But Artest got us more in return - he got us Ariza - Pippen got us Cato.

I'll take Cato over Ariza - so in this case, Artest was the better one year rental.

How can anyone vote against Ron Artest? He did his job, we got past the first round, he showed houston and the Rockets so much love...we didn't offer him a multi-year contract right? So he made the right choice for himself, but i am grateful for his contributions

Lesser Evil, I have to say Ron. He at least gave his best to help the team reach the 2nd round. Pippen.......

    I can't believe you're posing this question.

From my recollection, he fell down while dribbling in the final minutes of the deciding game of a first round series against the Lakers. It was probably the worst mistake of Quitten's career.

Either way if this is true or not, Quitten sucked the big one.

I found it funny that Jordan cockblocked a trade of Pippen for the TMac pick. It's like Tinman's worst nightmare of a choice to make.

This is no contest. Everyone hated pippen and we all loved what Artest did. Even though Artest hurt us badly, he still put his heart and passion into the Rockets. He was amazing this year. I will miss Artest dearly by what he brought to Houston. We never got into any fights as much as we did this season. He made us tough. He made us scary. Man I miss having Artest here. Pippen really didnt do much compared to Ron.

Talent wise, and history/legacy wise, Pippen beats Ron. People think of Pip from his Bulls days, and look at how much he contributed to the Blazers playoff run.

Outside the Rockets I didn't mind him. Actually, I respected him before he came to Rox.

As far as the Rockets go, I hate his guts. I want to burn his intestines and impale him.

    Am I bipolar?

DD, Are you ever going to come around and give Artest credit for helping this team succeed during the regular season after T-Mac went down and for finally getting out of the first round and pushing the Lakers to the brink of elimination?

Save the "well we might have gotten out of the first round without Ron" because there is no chance in hell we would have been in the position to even play Portland without Ron, let alone beat them in 6.

Quitten and Ron Artest are not in the same weight class when it comes to which one was better for the Rockets.
