If I remember correctly, Barry was in the far corner. To push the ball, he'd risk turning it over in a crowd. You don't want to do that and risk giving up a shot to the other team, on their side of the court, with 3 seconds left.
one thing i do not like about the message board is when people spell the names of players incorrectly. it's "barry" not "berry". I kind of see what you're saying, but it's the least of our problems.
... and don't forget the 10% in practice that should be more like 90% so he's ready for game time situations.
I love this thread - it has to be the most random complaint about a basketball team that I have ever read... I think that the Rockets should start practicing the half court lob instead of free throws
But I do remember last year when Francis hit a crazy buzzer-beater like that, he said it's because he practiced that shot all the time. LOL.
hmmm....up by 20......3 seconds left....the only shot possible is a desperation heave that has probably a 10% chance of going in..... yea...THATS a GREAT idea!!! let me join in attempting to buy you a clue............IT WASNT NECESSARY. it isnt about passion....if you want to b**** about passion.....Barry is the LAST person you should be b****ing about....he has more passion for the game in his right hand than most players have in their ENTIRE BODY. dude....you dont belong here...you are much too smart for us...why dont you go share your brilliance over at a more worthy board....shall I direct you to the espn boards? or maybe realgm?? you would fit right in...
But what if you have the chance to tie or win on the last play in the 4th? Yep, that Barry does have a sweet stroke.
Wow....I've been lurking for quite a long time now...this is my first post for Christ's sake! But that has got to be the stupidest rant I have ever had the displeasure of reading. Chill, son, and take it easy.
