McGrady is with the Rockets and works out with them daily. Often, guys get treatment during games because of the facilities available in other arenas or they will simply rest at the hotel. This is particularly true when you have a back problem and rest helps.

There are also times when players of McGrady's stature stay away from the games to avoid creating a distraction - constant interviews about their condition, etc.

That's a great argument. But Tmac simply doesn't sit down ever even at his home. Sitting down exacerbates his back. He only sits down when his back is loosened up

"Larry, if you come play for the Cavs, I guarantee we can average 30 points a game between us!"

All NBA stars call other players to come play with them. Kobe is practically the GM of his team and has the owner in his back pocket. LeBron calls free agents all the time and even makes videos that are delivered to them telling them to sign with the Cavs. I'm sure Wade does similar things, even if you don't hear about them. Besides, he has Shaq for that.

T-Mac isn't doing anything special. His impact will always be on the court, if he can stay on one that is.

you are right. but being "practically the GM" doesn't mean you call players and care for the team. if Kobe cares for the team, he would've never kicked out the best center in the league back then (after Dream retired, of course). Kobe is the gm in a negative way. didn't you hear what Chucky Atkins said about him before he kicked him out too (Chucky was the last L.A Laker than I actually didn't have a problem with). Kobe surrounded himself with a bunch of r****ds and character-less players who differ to him every time and dont have a problem with him jacking up 40 shots in a game. Kobe doesn't care about the team, he cares about his own stats and he wants to prove that he can win without Shaq, too bad this is not happening and is NOT going to happen

    do u have a proof?

I doubt that because DWade's organization headed by Pat Riley does more than enough to get players to sign. plus, being a well known NBA powerhouse and NBA champs, players dont need Wade to call them to sign with them. players beg the Heat to sign them

He was in the locker room, still nauseous from watching Rafer's play in the Laker game.

Sura? Hate to disrupt your dream, but I just don't see Sura coming back to make a positive contribution. I guess we can all hope. Let's be more realistic, hopefully TMAC will come back to play the rest of the season or at least through the playoffs, we need Kirk Snyder to come back strong (he's seems like the forgotten guy around here), and we need Bonzi to continue to get in better shape. Then, we just might have what we need to offset anymore future TMAC back issues to hang around until playoff time.

t-mac, the 15 million dollar phone caller. I know you guys are looking for positives, but when you try to pump up stuff like calling bonzi, which is speculation anyway, it really doesn't look all that great considering. All we need tmac to do is get well and play. all that other stuff really doesn't matter.
