The point is... You don't cry over losing someone like PPat. Crying over losing Pat as if he were Big E, Moses, Ralph, Hakeem or Yao is just ridiculous. The type of endless whinning that has gone on over PPat should be reserved for players that actually make a tangible difference.

Some posters like to blame the loss to Phoenix on the trade of PPat as if we did not lose to Sacramento with PPat in the starting line up.

That is what this thread is about. Some posters got it. :)

Ha I get it now. That last picture is of Patterson, I thought it was of TRob. I think that may be where you are confusing everyone. Just a guess.

Yep that's it. I have to admit I saw the picture of TRob shooting over PPat and chose it intentionally. I did not think there would be as much confusion though since PPat was pictured in a Rockets uni and not TRob. I think TRob will grow into 3 times the defender PPat was. For a player that is always in the right defensive position PPat is strangely ineffective.

Same can be said about Landry, Hayes, Scola, Lowry, Dragic, etc. People still cry about losing these guys because they like them. So what? Everyone has his own favorite players, and hated players for that matter.

OK. I feel a little better now for having clicked on your thread. At least it makes a little sense. Really confusing showing Robinson. I see where you were going, but — man, that was obtuse.

All of those players were / are better then PPat. Not apples to apples.

Landry was a legit 6th man of the year candidate while he was here.
Scola was an 18 PPG scorer
    Hayes was an elite defender
Lowry netted us a guaranteed lotto pick
Dragic was one of the most highly sought after players in free agency

PPat is..... A good mid range shooting Power Forward that does not rebound and is average at best on defense. He is not a difference maker.

Maybe now, but I can see TRob being another Jeff Green kind of player in a couple of years.

Maybe we should revisit that statement when TRob has been in the league for 2 and a half years. TRob already looks better at rebounding and defense than PPat.

ah, if it's meant to be a patterson picture, this thread makes some sense.
First impression - the thread is created to complain that TRob is not a HOFamer.
Poor choice of the visuals. :p

Once I saw that your name wasn't Carl Herrera, I figured you might have been talking about Patterson rather than Robinson.

How quick you guys give up on people SMH... I feel sorry for your kids, you'd probably put them up for adoption and get a new kid if they got bad grades.

I agree that Landry and Scola are better than Patterson. But they are not "different makers" which was your argument.

Patterson netted us a #5 pick. Sorry to point out your self-defeating argument. :p

Not sure about that. If he was so highly sought after, why did he end up on a sucky team? Anyway, let's wait till Patterson becomes a FA before you can be so sure of his worthlessness.

Again, which one of the players I mentioned can be called difference maker?

Giving up? Pat is no longer on with the Rockets so I don't feel like I'm giving up. Besides he had 2.5 years hear and refused to rebound and was usually ineffective on defense, even if he was where he was supposed to be.
