if we going to have another big guy, i rather it be someone that can come in and give yao 15 mins of rest. Having verajao will not improve anything, i rather go for a player like zo morning. Players that i would want for the rox team, other than jose and artest, another player i really like is stephan jackson, having him and tmac will create match-up problems for any team. It will be like world war 4, if artest, jackson and cwebb comes in, as we still have bonzi, james and francis.
Yes lets get Stephen Jackson and dump that knife wielding bricklayer Alston. With Jackson we get a real shooter and we graduate to guns!!
Players I would love to see in a Rockets jersey (that are probably going to be free agents after this season) are Andre Iguodala and Gilbert Arenas. Even Andris Biedrins. Too bad its really unlikely
Calderon used to be a teammate of Scola in Spain. The pick and roll between those two played a big role in getting Tau to the final four of the Euroleague in 2005. Garbajosa (Scola's biggest "nemesis" in the Spanish league) is starting to get minutes again with the Raptors. I don't really see Calderon joining the Rockets, he is playing very well.
No way I want Sideshow Bob when we have Chuck Hayes for a fraction of the price. That being said, Chuck has no business starting in the NBA. I'm EXTREMELY excited to see Scola taking the next step toward securing that role. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing the Rockets pick up Chris Webber, whose shooting and passing game would mesh very well on this team.
He has character and all the girls love his hair but I think now that Scola is showing us just what we can expect from there isn't aplace for him and Les wouldn't pay that sort of money for a third tier player. Possibly MJ might play a season or two

I would definitely like to see my countryman on my favourite team! However he hasn't got any offensive skills and is not that good defensively. Terrific rebounder and probably one of the fastest and quickest bigs in the league though. With that said, he wouldn't be that much better than Scola/Hayes and will probably get more than those two when his rookie contract is up.
with league pass, ive been able to watch toronto a lot. jose calderon....this guy is a beast. he comes in and plays 15-20 mins, and he's so effective in that time. The other night he had 7 assists in 17 minutes... or chucky atkins (i know he's injured right now)
Even with little left in Cassell's tank, he is still putting up 14 points, over 5 assists and under 2 turnovers in 26 minutes. Granted, he's not a great shooter either, but he's definitely an upgrade over Rafer. Maggette is clearly better than Shane. He may not be Mr. Intangible, but 20 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 3 apg...he's shooting over 40% from 3's so far this year. He'd be an awesome 2 guard to Tracy's small forward position. Cassel, Maggette, T-Mac, Scola, Yao is a formidable 5...definitely better than what we have. Battier/Rafer for Magette/Cassell works straight-up, but I don't think its enough to entice the Clippers. Maybe if you wait until the trade deadline, though, the Clippers will definitely be worse, and be going up against getting nothing in return for Sam I Am as his contract expires. But if you wanted to do it now, I threw in Head/#1 pick to entice them.
Dont think LA would do this but.. How about Alston (Or James), Battier, Snyder, plus cash and/or a pick for Mobley and Maggette It would be nice to have Mobley back in Houston with his great 3 pt shooting
