Clint capela, tough fouls on him, but this kid is so good. Id start him over dwight and let him grow, at least he cares and takes pride in his game. Heck I'd start dwight and clint together
Yes Capela > Dwight, sorry to say Dwight fans. The numbers back it up, the eye test backs it up. It's true.
How many lame excuses are you going to give. You would think he is new to the team, he is not an NBA coach. We didn't even get the new coach bump. If it weren't for Brewers 3 point miracle he would still be win less.
The biggest bright spot for me tonight was witnessing how awesome Porzingis is. Outside of that, there is no bright side. We lost, again.
yeah. the only time i laughed watching the game. and for those who said "harden has never had anyone who taught him how to play defense",,, what's your reckoning tonight?
I completely disagree. They should start both him and Dwight and they will become a great front court. D-Mo's injured prone, bench him as the back up center.
I like watching Cap grow into an NBA starter, I do. But come on, man. Dwight averages his season highs, lol. Ideally, I'd love to see Dwight get tons of rest this season while Cap gets tons of XP. Then unleash Playoff Dwight (if we get to the playoffs, lmfao).
Someone needs to add in some cartoon explosions to that, like they did to that Mexican Soccer coaches head...
But Dwight is 30 and starting to break down. Capela is 21 and getting better with every game. Of course there's no comparison between the two at the moment, but who's to say Dwight will be that much better than Clint by the end of next season? Would you rather have 22-30 mil locked up in a soon-to-be 32 Dwight Howard who's on his last legs(literally) or less than 2 1/2 mil going toward an about-to-be 23 Clint Capela?
Dwight sits against weak teams when on b2b and plays against better teams. Capela is not better than Dwight. It looks that way so far, but it's not the case. Capela plays against weaker opponents and they don't focus Capela as much as Dwight. He's good though, but you're too fast to write off Dwight.
Capela had a decent game. I won't call it a great game, he fouled out of a close home loss. he's getting better but to say "with every game" makes it seem like he's really good now, and he's not there yet. I really love watching him do well, tho. And right now there isn't a single GM who would choose Cap over Dwight, so...
DEAR CLUTCHFANS, CAPELA IS BETTER THAN DWIGHT BECAUSE DWIGHT CAN'T SET SCREENS. When you have your PF setting the screen when Dwight is on the floor, Dwight does nothing but clog up the paint. This is why our offense is better with Capela. No other freaking reason. Dwight is a better rebounder. That's it. He's not better defensively or offensively at this point.
