I'm pretty sure 95% of people outside of Houston would choose Amare.

EDIT: On second thought, you could make that 99%.

almost everyone outside houston or everyone who is not chinese would pick amare over yao on pure objectiveness. amare actually played deep into playoffs multiple times and performed great in many key playoff throwdowns with likes of spurs and lakers and like while yao has sucked repeatedly in playoffs playing below his own regular season level, so its not only a team success thing its also a yao personally sucking in the playoffs thing and getting owned by single coverage of okur

Not today, T-Mac isn't. He's clearly in decline. You could make that case only for T-Mac from his Orlando Magic years. D-Wade is clearly going into the prime of his career right now. He is completely healthy after last season and had a great Olympics. It even looks like he may have finally added 3 point shooting range to his repertoire.

OTOH, T-Mac is still hobbled from last season's knee and shoulder injuries. And that really bugs me. Why is he still hurt?!

He's just going to continue jacking up shots at a low fg% that could be better distributed amongst the rest of the team (Yao, Scola, Landry, NOT Artest cause he'll be a ballhog himself).

So WHY then is T-Mac still hobbled by the same shoulder and knee problems from last year?! He had surgery, but he's still not 100%! Why'd he announce that he'd have to get more shoulder surgery in the offseason? Why couldn't he fix the problem this past offseason?

And as far as you putting words in mouth when it comes to Yao, it's on a case by case basis, my friend. Yao's injury problems have more to do with him being a 7'6" giant with brittle feet. **** happens when you're a Chinese Gheorghe Muresan in body type...

Why Battier still having foot problems after having surgery on it?
Why is Gilbert Arenas still having knee ailments after multiple operations?

Surgery isnt always like a power-up in a video game where health is automatically restored to 100%. Sometimes it just takes time to heal.

Neither Rose nor Amare's injuries are serious. Both will start the season and Amare is already cleared to practice

People wanna talk about laker fans? It's sickening how many Suns fans there are, all gaga over they're fast paced-no defense style of basketball that has never won a championship. All ways quick to make excuses, i guess time they'll say Amare's pinky was injured.

The reason they lose is because they don't have the consistent inside dominance that most championship teams have. They waited too late to pull the trigger on a real center and now they will continue they're decline. As shaq and Nash get older this team will become garbage and Amare's superstar offense/nbdl defense will become the focal point of a bad team.

The guy dislocated his pinky. Hardly an injury worth mentioning.
