Our DL gave Kansas City's OL trouble the entire game in week 6. Our OL held up pretty good as well. One or both will be the deciding factor in Sundays matchup.
Gentleman's agreement between both teams that no defense will be played. The coin toss in overtime decides the victory. Texans 69 (no extra point in the O.T touchdown) Nice!. Chiefs 63 The game that will change football forever they will say.
DL definitely made a difference. But did we forget, Fuller dropped 2 TDs. Was this also the game Hopkins dropped a TD too? Can’t remember. We totally controlled this game. Fairbairn also missed a field goal. We don’t start flat (again) then this game is ours. Their defense has improved but that doesn’t mean they can stop us. If Deshaun is Deshaun, we win.
LOL, good one. Speaking of down to a coin toss, I hate that rule. I'm really surprised after all these years the powers that be haven't changed that. Why would you want to risk it all on the luck of a coin toss where the lucky one can win the game before you even get the ball? I hate that rule. I bet New Orleans fans are hating it right now too.
I'm not sure how we're talking past each other here, but my point is that if KC is getting 3 and outs due to Mahomes being limited and not able to make throws, it will lead to more TOP for us. Not more possessions. I think you're giving too much credit to the Texans here when it was really Mahomes that got hurt and thus slowed down after the 17-3 start. We'll see what happens.
Wow; that's somewhat surprising we're getting the A-Team - I know New England bowing it is a considerable factor but I assumed they'd put their #1 team on the best team in the conference + prime time.
Man. It's slated to be in the mid 60s in Balitmore Saturday night... meanwhile KC is going to be in the high 30s on Sunday afternoon. Wish that was flip flopped. This KC team is better than the one we beat week 6... but we still have the ability to win at the line on both sides of the ball. I think you stick to the blueprint and challenge KC to stop you on the ground. If they do, or if Mahomes pulls one more rabbit out of his butt than Watson, then GG, but I can live with that loss.
I think the Texans are going to be different too. Switch out Xavier Crawford and Philip Gaines for Conley and Hargraves. On offense, Keke Coutee wasn't in the dog house, Will Fuller V was healthy (5 catches for 44 yards) and Tytus Howard (left during the game) played back then. So Houston defense should be better and the offense COULD be worse.
