If they're gonna go 90, they might as well go 91. Then, for the first time ever, they'll finish the season at .500 for their franchise history. Next season, they can work on getting us above break-even.
There must have been a duplicate poll/post somewhere. I swear I voted in this but my name is not in there. I think I voted over 90...but it was during an early hot streak where everything was clicking. Then, we pretty much fell apart for a long stretch. It's a shame. I had such high hopes early on...that this was a team to be reckoned with. Of course, they come on late per usual but it's going to take another miracle to get to the post-season. Primarily, we had a lot of pitching failures from pretty much everyone early on that doomed this season. The hitting hasn't been so bad and has actually been much better than I can recall in recent years.
Right now dsnow23, JCDenton, jeremyang2002, jgreen91, jopatmc, meh, Nice Rollin, ROCKETS1972, rsx_htown, toby, wgray, yc324, BenignDMD, Greg8231984, Summer Song Giver, The Ming Dynasty are OUT!
For like a day. IIRC, that was 2006--they looked good out of the gate, then pretty much sucked the rest of the year (late season "minisurge" notwithstanding"). hrmmm.... (googles it...) 3652-3672 at the beginning of the year, but it's wikipedia, so I hope it's good. Add the current record, and they're 3726-3738. 12 under!
