Seriously, in a playoff series, I don't see any other team beating us if all teams are healthy. OKC lost out big time in a matchup with us, given Dwight's presence. Now, they must play Perkins, and they just lost Martin. Their lineup got severely worsened offensively and flexibility wise.

They need Lamb to be big, I believe he can be, but I'll take my chances we're better.

Really hard to say...I think the Rockets will win 50-55 games in the regular season if they stay healthy...

    On paper?
Starting 5 of Lin, Harden, Parsons, Asik and Dwight - easily top 5 if not top 3.

So hard to say with the team being so young. Parsons, Lin, TJones, Beverly should all be more complete players.

    I had say Top 5

I'd put us 4 or 5 in the west. So like 8 or 9 overall.

Realistically Rockets move up 1-3 spots. Additional 5-10 wins. On paper, last year Lakers could be argued had a better team than this year Rockets. They had 4 potential Hall of Famers. But the chemistry was just awful. I believe Howard will be rejuvenated but tough to see them jelling so quickly.

On paper, I rank the Rockets #3. OKC and Miami I put before us, but on paper, we should be better than everyone else, except maybe Brooklyn if their talents actually gel.

I'm a big believer in star power. The Rockets have best star power outside of Miami/OKC. Plus we have unrealized potential in all our positions, including center, compared to last year.

Wait, you truly believe that the top 8-9 teams in the NBA would include 4 teams from the East. Truly?

In the west, I'd say Spurs and Thunder are still ahead until we prove otherwise. In the east, Miami is ahead. Depending on how well Rose has recovered, Chicago might be ahead of us. I think we're in a second tier of contenders with the Clippers, Grizzlies, Knicks, Pacers, Nets, Warriors, and maybe Bulls, though in the top-half of that tier. I won't say first tier before seeing them play.
