On my HS Basketball team. Need help choosing a jersey number!

    Go with 51, that was Dick Butkus's number. Best linebacker number ever!

    Anyone play for a HS team when they disallowed numbers with digits greater than 5 in team. So, 55 is the highest number you could have. Otherwise, we'd see a lot more 69s out there.

    The reason for the rule is Refs need to signal your number with two hands, and each hand's highest number is 5.

    Was this an actual rule, and the NBA just stopped applying it. And if so, when? Did NCAA have this rule?

    As a European guy I'd always go with #10(soccer). Or maybe #1(T-Mac) or #3(AI).
