Jenning is a horrible player. If a team with five Jennings-caliber starters, they will break the Bobcats record for most losses. Given his age, he might improve but it's a huge gamble. Anyone with a -2.5 XRAPM or greater is a negative in wins total, meaning when he is on the floor, not only he will not contribute his team's win total, he will cause losses. Coach Nick breaks down on Jennings.
I'd be surprised if Jennings got an offer anywhere. Outside of the veterans minimum he will unfortunately discover his services aren't in high-demand. If someone like Nate Robinson can barely get a 2year 4mil after his performance in the playoffs, Jennings may want to consider playing in europe or china to work on his flaws.
I would be surprised too. GM's are getting smarter and catching up on what Morey is doing. It's not like Jenning is still a rookie. Far from it! He's been in the league 4 years and most likely a 90% finished product. This alone will scare off most of GM's. If Nate were a few inches taller, he would be close to a top tier PG in this league.
It means 4-person unit with Harden perform worse than(-38 overall) they with Asik, in total 475 possessions. In other words, Asik is more irreplaceable, it makes perfect sense. And when replace Harden with Gracia, offense with suffer (+26) , defense will benefit (-23). http://stats-for-the-nba.appspot.com/s4pm/2013/hardeja01_2013.html
I didn't really want to make a new thread. Ideally, if a team MOV (margin of victory) is 0, it should win 41 games. Then if all players have an xRAPM of 0 and played the same amount of minutes, they will equally share the 41 wins among them. Mainly based on XRAPM numbers and minutes played, I came up with win contribution of our players. I am not an expert on advanced statistics and spare you the details how I derived those wins.
MP xRAPM Wins Harden 2985 5.12 15.63 Parsons 2758 -0.13 4.49 J. I don't care about all this, Lin has played a full season as a starter, next season and playoffs will show what kind of player he is.
