We have 3 ex-Nicks on the roster: Ward, Mutombo, and Weatherspoon. I think you would agree that Mutombo is a pretty good pick-up. Not only is he playing well, but he is a good practice partner for Yao. Weatherspoon was part of the Moochie Norris trade. No other team wanted Moochie. Moochie, by the way, has a 300 FG% this year. Wouldn’t you much rather have Weatherspoon than Moochie? I will give you Ward though. I am not happy we picked him up but at least he offers experience at the point guard position.

It’s funny how we blame Van Gundy for picking up some players but don’t giving him credit for picking up McGrady.

Nobody likes Mo either. You think you can get your friends up there in NY to take him off our hands too, and send us back mmmmmmmmmm Mohammed?

Well, he didn't pick up Mc Grady. Mc Grady orchestrated his trade, then chose to play with Yao. Even butterfingers CD was able to get the deal done. If anything, JVG was in the way, with his public feud with Francis. He could have kept that quiet, but NO... he has to go crying to the scribblers. What a moron.

Problem is, there's probably no awesome PF in the next draft

McGrady is not JVG's pick up, T-Mac wants out of Orlando and Houston is a place he wants to be traded to because of Yao.

Try to get Richard Hendrix in a year or two. He currently plays for Athens High School. I played against him in a tournament a couple weeks ago, and he was a freak. Great ballhandling, and stroke for a big guy, and a monster on the boards. He has signed for Alabama now. But I think he will eventually be a great rebounder/shotblocker in the Leauge.

There's an awesome PF in every draft. Always. The trick is picking the right guy.

    2004 - Okafor, Howard
    2003 - Bosh
    2002 - Amare
    2001 - Gasol, Randolph
    2000 - KMart
    1999 - Brand
    1998 - Dirk
    1997 - Duncan
    1996 - Jermaine O'Neal
    1995 - McDyess, Rasheed
    1994 - J.Howard
    1993 - Webber, Vin Baker
    1992 - PJ Brown, HORRY!
1991 - Dale Davis? Ehh. Yucky draft all around.
1990 - Derrick Coleman, Jayson Williams, Antonio Davis

You get the idea. If we hold on to our draft pick, there's a good chance we'll pick up a very solid PF (if we draft that way). Hopefully there will be someone available and CD won't screw it up.
