I eat out one day a week. I guess you could say twice. One lunch and one dinner. I can't afford much more.
If you're including lunch then 5 days a week for lunch and probably dinner every other week. So average of 5.5 days a week.
If I can't find anything to microwave or I'm out of bread for sandwiches, there is a good chance I'll be eating fast food. I'm trying to budget more though, both in price and health. Taco Bell has chicken soft tacos for 89 cents. a Subway 5 dollar footlong can be eaten for lunch and dinner.
As much as i watch the Food Network, i should be cooking every day. But that would make too much sense. So i pay to have people do it for me. And tip them for mediocre service. fml
I love to cook but hate cooking for myself and usually don't like leftovers just because there's so much left over thus a lot of it goes to waste. So I eat out about 8 times a week I'd guess.
We've been eating out more because I never feel like going to the grocery store. I'd rather eat food I make though.
I actually didn’t factor in lunches and/or fast foods; I was mostly just talking about going to an actual restaurant with an actual waiter etc. I probably bring my lunch to work 4 out of 5 days. Maybe once a week, I’ll go down to the food court and get something. We have a bad ass food court onsite and you can usually get a good sized meal for around $5 or so. On weekends, we usually do linner, which is going out to eat at about 3-something. That way, you cover both lunch and dinner.
Considering a possibility of 21 eating occasions, I think 4 is about right and comfortable and safe. But I work from home so my eating habits is more like a cow, I craze through my dayz!!!!
I have lunch outside maybe 2-3 times a week depending on how busy I am, usually at Tornado Burger or something like that. As for real "eating out"/dining with waitstaff and tips and all that, probably once or twice a month.
Maybe twice a week, considering that there are seven lunches and seven dinners a week to come up with. I get tired of having to do that and feel like going somewhere, especially if we're already out running errands. It's usually fast food, counter service, or buffet (we go to Golden Corral right at the end of the "lunch" session and let it count for both lunch and dinner). I used to eat out more before I had to scale back my budget. At least it helps that we're in a small town with nowhere good to eat; this limits it to occasional "treat ourselves" situations where we drive to a restaurant, and things we do when we're spending a long day in town.
