Morey and the coach have one goal: to win basketball games

There is no reason why he would not be playing here if coach Adelman and Morey thought his playing would result in more wins. They saw enough of him in games AND in practice to know he doesn't make this team better.

Not even if we get a Chris Paul or AI? We won't take bad contracts for no reason obviously, we'll take them if we get really good players for them. That simple.

Ah but Dave, does he? We cant know, nobody on this forum can possibly know if he would have made the team better or not because he did not get the chance period.... If he would have played 14 minutes, 7 in the end of first and 7 in the end of the 3rd and would have played like Ariza then I belive so that yes he is making this team worst. Look, I want Mcgrady out asap so we can see who comes in and focus more on the Rockets once again but it fustrates when we all talk here on pure assumption. On things we just dont know. Lets try talking with what we do know, and what we saw.

I didn't read your giant wall of text, but I agree that McGrady could help us with his talent and passing ability.

The problem, however, is that he doesn't want to because he doesn't want to play with the flow and must have the ball in his hands, destroying out offensive rhythm and chemistry.

    Thus, Tracy McGrady must GTFO.

Honestly, I have not seen that this season. But is repeated over and over again.

Ive this said this many times, and will say it again..i'm not a big T-MAC fan but a ROCKETS fan and BASKETBALL fan.

With that being said...I cant stand it when people speak out of their @$$es without knowing the consequences of a KNEE SURGERY and how long it takes to get comfortable and getting rid of the fear of getting hurt again. And I cant stand it when people speak out of ther @$$es who havent played in a REAL game (NOT A PICKUP GAME).

In the games he started to play were in 3 sets of BACK TO BACKS...meaning NO PRACTICE time.. Playing only 7 minutes in a REAL BASKETBALL game is like playing to 5 points in a pickup game. There's NO WAY you can get any type of rhythm and there's no way to EVALUATE what you can and cannot do.

In ways...TMAC brought it on himself when lobbying for more minutes. BUT RA could have stuck with the plan to evaluate further and said "lets get through this tough stretch, get a couple practices in and take it from there". I dont blame one or the other...Its a marriage that's gonna end only due to lack of communication and understanding.

Dude, it was pretty hard reading all that stuff, start using paragraphs, but anyway, I decided to read
it, and I gotta say I actually agree. Yes, I agree, your point is good, and I'm think exactly the same way.
I rate this thread 5 stars dude, it deserves, even if it's written completely like a complete noob wrote,
which takes away from how true it actually is, and the way you wrote it actually makes many people
not read it. So next time use paragraphs, and people will take you most seriously. Again, thanks
for finally being the one to tell it how it is. I completely agree.

....and lets be real here...like many others have probably mentioned already.... a TMAC at 75% health is 100x's better than ARIZA (sure, i'm exaggerating a bit..)

I understand this is a development year for ARIZA. BUT... you either have BBALL IQ or you DONT. I'm not sayin ARIZA's = STROMILE SWIFT.. but the dude has NO CLUE what the hell to do with the ball once he gets it.

TMAC...regardless of his deficiencies...seems to know exactly what he's gonna do with the ball...With a play-maker like TMAC, Ariza would benefit greatly and wouldnt shooting this horrendous 38%.

Funny how posters here believe they know more than one of the most winning coaches in basketball. There is a reason he is hired by the Rockets and making big bucks, while the rest of you are sitting in front of a computer talking about this crap. I am more than willing to put my money that RA knows way more about winning than posters questioning RA's decisions and after going through all the dramas that T-Mac has put the Rockets through, why would you continue to support T-Mac over RA? Case and point is that we lost against three teams that statistically and realistically, we should have lost against. After the hardest schedule in the NBA, not only do we have a winning record, we are STILL in contention for the playoffs.

For those of you still pushing for T-Mac, its over and he is not coming back. Drink your alcohol, take your Prozac, or do whatever you need to do and move the hell on. If he had played within the system, not demanded more minutes, and actually showed he wasn't the selfish diva everyone is calling him, he would have more minutes as he improves. It is a simple as that.

Ariza is ok if not great as a role player... I dont know why people made themselves believe that he would replace T-Mac in any way. But hey, as Rockets fans we must look ahead and with the Bosh news things are looking mighty bright.... I just want people to stop talking out there %#!! as you said and start seeing things for what they are and what we know and not try to speak for anyone else......

This is good logic Dave, especially if we trust the coach and Morey to always do the right thing, but how does Ariza contribute to winning games....?

If T-mac plays within the system and obeys the coach, I don't see how he wouldn't be more effective than Ariza.
