His acquistion of James Hardens forgives him for that draft choice x10,000.

Yeah. Offensive role players are gonna look a lot better next to Harden and now Dwight compared to Sacramento/Cleveland. Good dice roll.

Yeah Morey >>>>> Haymitch, that much is certain. But I don't think he is beyond all criticism. That's all I'm saying, and I'm not even really opposed to this signing - as long as it's cheap.

Good signing. His 3 pt % will revert to prior levels with Harden/Howard.

He's 25? Seemed like he was much older.

His stats are pretty underwhelming, but playing in Sacramento and Cleveland will do things to you I guess.

Haha, I'd be shocked if the deal is for more than the minimum and though I can understand why most folks here won't get overly excited about this, you have to look at this signing in context to the roll he'll likely play, which IMO will be essentially what James Anderson was last year -- 3rd/4th backup wing.

Solid depth signing IMO. Could end up being important if rotation minutes open up due to injury.

Interesting move. He showed signs of promise as a rookie on the Kings. Not a great shooter but has 3 point range and is a lanky defender similar to Parsons and Garcia. Will serve as a cheap option for roster depth. Unlike years past, the roster has transformed from undersized to oversized across all positions. I like it.

THIS! In 9 months Morey has turned this Rockets franchise around with Howard and Harden and now people are questioning his choice of role players.

Caspi is a solid role player. He also was hurt a lot last year.

The thing about Morey is if he makes a mistake, the mistake is gone very quickly after he realizes it is a mistake (see Royce White, Terrence Williams, Trevor Ariza).

How much of the room exception do we have left?
We're gonna be getting bottom feeder free agents now. I just hope dmo and jones develop for the pf spot or is seriously look at Kenyon to play the 4 as a backup

Casspi is like the 5th or 6th guy in your backcourt.

I agree with the idea that we still need a impact 6th man.

    He's a stretch 4 that shoots 3's. It's what we need.
