Player that people doubt, had limited minutes last yr on a bad team...not obviously a good player signing, but one Morey will probably bring in on a very cheap deal for 2 yrs.

Wow, that sure sounds familiar. I'm gonna give Morey the benefit of the doubt here (and probably on all trades/moves for the next 2 yrs :p) and assume we're going to be lauding it as another Delfino/Garcia-type signing in a few months.

He's a great fit for our style of play.

He excels in transition, is a solid spot-up shooter and defends the perimeter well. Like I said, a very poor man's Chandler Parsons that will be a great addition for depth purposes and against a team like OKC where we need multiple perimeter guys to defend Durant.

Meet the newest Houston Rocket. Decent player, could be a good hustle guy and shooter. Him and Fransisco have a bromance from there Sactown days.

On the right contract, Casspi is a "good" signing. Gives the Rockets another shooter to play around Dwight/Harden and give even more floor spacing....

Starting to see the trend here guys?

Im assuming unlike the Garcia contract, the Rockets will get a team option for year two, and will probably get better ability to move him if needed.

I would think that they are holding onto their mini-mid level for someone else. Wouldn't be shocked if Carl Landry is an option now at this point.

Did Delfino ever want the vet minimum?

It's not known what he wanted. He could have been out of the Rockets price range and/or his injury is worse than imagined.

Remember this commercial with Kobe, Lebron, Ibaka, Horford, Bargnani and Casspi?

One of these things are not like the other.

I love when people question Morey's moves. We signed Delfino?! He sucks! Garcia is a bum, he's just trade filler! We traded the farm for an overrated 6th man!!!
