Why are so many idiots in the world want to use drugs?

 

It's the environment that surrounds them.. You live in the jungle, you behave like wild animals... I have no sympathy for those idiots that got chain sawed off and hacked to pieces.. I didn't see the video but the guy who got knifed, did he get knifed by a Machete??? How cool would that be to see a guy getting hacked by a Machete, and yes I am a sick b*stard....:grin:

 

And what about the people who don't do drugs, but were caught up in the drug war because of their jobs or family? Do you have no sympathy for them?

 

That's entirely different.. People situations are different from one another, I'm mainly talking about the ones who got caught or brought it upon themselves to be in that situation...

I remember when I first started watching this kinda stuff, around 6th grade. Rotten.com was where I would go, it get's old though, can't watch that stuff anymore.

 

Watching things like this does the opposite of "gaining perspective". I think you lose perspective, because its numbs your senses to the horribleness of it all.

 

Why do so many idiots think making drugs illegal works? Cartels = organized crime = Al Capone. What happened when we ended prohibition and regulated alcohol? (imo a way worse drug)

The War on Drugs is for profit and kept alive by lobbyist and greed.

 

It doesn't stop there.. If you legalize drugs, the cartels would move on to something else illegal... It's never going to stop, you just have to make sure they do it within their own circle...

 

Our youth will be better educated on drugs. You know instead of the propaganda that they get right now. the issues would be like needle park i think in the netherlands? Where they had to shovel dead bodies every morning. but the public could make more educated decisions on drug use.

 

What are they going to move onto? There is nothing else.

Legalizing drugs would completely wipe out the terrible violence that plagues Mexico and our borders. It would wipe out 1/3 of our prison population which are harmless potheads.

Heck, just put a 5 year morotorium on the drug ban and have the power of capitalism drive the Cartels out of business. You think they can stay competitive with Walmart pumping out drugs?

You should have the freedom to do what you to do with your body. Legalizing it, will not cause some mad rush on drugs.

Would seeing starving children firsthand numb people to the horribleness of it? I would think seeing it makes it more real than reading about it. People don't watch it because they're afraid to feel. It's much easier to ignore it that way.

 

Saw it last year, wish I hadn't though.

 

If they saw it everyday and became desensitized to it unfortunately yes.
